"THIRD: This is the most important election for US airways, because as you can see from the numbers above we are vastly outnumbered by united. However, its US airways that is right in the middle of negotiations, not united. I hope all of you can see by the numbers how important it is for the US employees to show up and vote. We MUST turn out a high percentage to protect what is best for us. You need to come out on the 12th and vote. Not only you, but tell your buddy next to you to get up and come and vote. All of us need to care enough, or we will be regretting this for a long time to come."
 
You are correct on this one we are in negotiations for close to 3 yrs now and because of that  lame Anti-Union Agreement that Rich negotiated at UA it has set US members back years , you might be regretting it for years to come because back to working OT every other weekend to make ends meet like you used to have to do. with a new baby and all guessing the monthly bills are up .. wonder where the extra $$ is coming from , will touch on that in a few

Please tell us, exactly how many US people are running for a position on the U4C slate vs. how many US people are running on the incumbant slate? The U4C ticket takes two (2) Eboard spots away from US members. spots that are sorley needed, because we are outnumbered already. So please stop with the half truths already, a good leader tells the WHOLE story, not just what he wants people to hear.

Can't support people that let the Money and Title CHANGE their Morals and principles  MF fooled alot of people myself included about being a UNION man ( Heck according to his fellow PIT guys he wouldn't even sign a card back in the 90's)  What he really is  is a money man .
But YOU I'm just completely shocked at the guy you have become. Tell half truths and misleading the membership. Lets not forget the your Letter you put out 2 days before the Grievance Election asking us to support the CURRENT Commitee. MB,RR,AD only to show up on Election Day and see you on another Ticket as well (throwing your current committee guys under the bus) for fear of losing your Chairmans TITLE. Typical Delaney Politics.. Heck in 2012 you were disgusted by PR for doing that in the DL ELECtION. So what gives..

How does the trustee spot going to United affect you personally?  Realizing that all a trustee does is sign checks, and that spot has NOTHING to do with representing members?  Please explain how the eboard has worked in your benefit when it is run by a majority which is 90% United Airlines.   When there are 38 eboard positions, you are saying that having 8 US AIRWAYS spots, instead of 6,  will change the direction of the United dominated Eboard? How so?
 
As far as the full time US AIRWAYS positions, both tickets have equal amounts.   And you do realize that the sCO members will also be entitled to prolly the next 4-6 district positions according to Delaney, yes?

FIFTH: It is not only disappointing to me, but actually unbelievable that one of our own grievance committee guys here in clt is supporting the unified for change team. Tracy Russo is running for AGC on the unified for change team. I understand Rick wanting to support his wife, but I cant understand Rick wanting to support the whole team, when the unified for change team is only going to screw the Us members if they get in. When I mentioned the things above to him, and how detrimental they were to our membership here at US airways fleet, his only response was " well they don't know that " . I can only guess its because of the money his wife has a chance to make if she gets elected, for his reason to not tell you this. Yes Rick and I have been friends for a long time, This is nothing personal against him, but he is the one that chose to support their whole team. I am the one that decided to tell you the whole truth, including even the part that you didn't know. I have a lot of other good friends out there that I represent, and you need to know whats going on. Because I know for certain, he or his wife is not telling you these things. Everyone should ask him about the above issues in my opinion when he ask for you to vote for the unified for change team. Or for anybody that supports that team. They should tell you why they support doing whats mentioned above. If they tell you it cant happen, they simply aren't being honest with you.
In the end, you will have to decide who is really here for the membership. Someone that is telling you the whole story? Or someone that is only telling you the parts they want you to here. You will be getting two different stories. You will be the one that has to determine who is telling you the truth. I needed to let everyone know the severity of next weeks vote on the 12th since I wont be here, and you probably will only be hearing one side of the story. Please think hard and serious about this election. Think about what is best for you and your family and our contract.
I think if you give it some consideration, you will know this is not the time to change things now. I don't think there could be a worse time. I ask all of you to vote for the 141 Rising slate. It is this slate that will keep everything intact, and will keep us moving forward and not backwards. YOU MUST DECIDE AND VOTE. WE HAVE TO GET THE NUMBERS OUT. VOTE 141 RISING

CB I guess what your saying is if your wife asked you to support her in her endavors you would say "No Honey I can't do that "  Yeah Right ..You have really turned into a Politian not a man fighting for the members as you supposedly were 6yrs agos. When you say "think about whats best for your family " what your really saying is think about whats best for my family and help me keep my nice UNION PAYCHECK.. 
CB for once tell the WHOLE TRUTH. Yes you make 75.00 a month as VP at large. But what about the 350.00 you make everytime you go to DCA and act as a AGC for the day. lets see 1 day a week  X  4 weeks thats what 1400-1500 amonth plus per diem..   that might explain your absences on the ramp every other weekend. And I say good for you, but at least BE HONEST ABOUT IT.. for crying out loud DCA has had 4 different AGC's in 6yrs it  must be the training ground for that covetted permanent AGC spot

Long time no talk man, how have you been? And the political side I actually hate. But I will not sit by and have tim ride the UA hate tide to get him and his cronies an AGC spot. I believe it will hurt us more than help. Heck artie has NEVER written a grievance before, and carl is almost as bad. How is their lack of experience a good thing for US exactly? I have repeadetly said I would have voted against the UA T/A, I was not a fan, but I was not on their NC. I do not pretend to know the challenges they faced. Same goes for our own NC. I am not privy to the goings on in negotiations. I am truly concerned with the lack of represtaional experience that artie and carl bring to the table.

can you guys explain why such a low turnout on the UA side. I got a good guess 
the membership was SCREWED by the current Leadership and have just given up . I know
alot of US members feel that way since the "Big Change in 2008" the membership has gone backwards . 
Lets reviewed whats happened under Team Delaney's term
 
1. No Attendance Arbitration (which was campaigned in 08 by the New Direction(141 rising)
 
2. IAM pension cut in half . NO SUPPORT from the District. after all aren't they suppose to go to bat for us at the International level.
 
3. 2011 closing of 7 cities prematurely. and the lock out of BUF employees over christmas week .
 
4. and who can't forget the "misunderstanding " of the Jan 2012 raise. that for the first time in union history we got in Jul instead of the standard Jan raise..  
 
I will take my chances with another team since the membership @ US has not benefited but actually LOST JOBS and MONEY under the Current Regime.. I gave them 6yrs to do something positive and have yet to see anything positive.
 
SO in closing  CB I wish you and your family the best but have to say the person you have become to acheive that grand prize of getting "A JOB" was it really worth it.. Only you know the true answer to that.  
 
to my fellow union brothers / sisters   please take the time Thursday to come out and VOTE it the only thing the company and or the union cant take away from you.  Just be sure you know who you are really voting for..

The how is you say that both tickets have the same amount of AGC's runing, while that is true, there are two (2) more US candidates on the incumbant slate than the U4C slate. Fundamentaly, not the whole truth that you tell. Nuff said.
