you would be surprised how some current leaders don't understand grievances and presenting them. I'm not going to go into detail because the details were privy and I don't roll like that.. but in 08 the whole slate was "inexperienced and over 6yrs still haven't figured it out.. heck look at robbed case for ex.. how many yrs has that been going on over 6 ... so there is something to be said about experience.. Doesn't necessarially make someone a good or bad leader. and IMO that is what this District is missing is true LEADERSHIP ..  when is enough enough  after we get that UA like t/a and more jobs are lost. Heck they aren't even getting us up to current BK AA wages that will be fazed in over 18 months..  sorry that doesn't cut it in this environment of RECORD PROFITS every Quarter

can you guys explain why such a low turnout on the UA side. I got a good guess 
the membership was SCREWED by the current Leadership and have just given up . I know
alot of US members feel that way since the "Big Change in 2008" the membership has gone backwards . 
Lets reviewed whats happened under Team Delaney's term
 
1. No Attendance Arbitration (which was campaigned in 08 by the New Direction(141 rising)
 
2. IAM pension cut in half . NO SUPPORT from the District. after all aren't they suppose to go to bat for us at the International level.
 
3. 2011 closing of 7 cities prematurely. and the lock out of BUF employees over christmas week .
 
4. and who can't forget the "misunderstanding " of the Jan 2012 raise. that for the first time in union history we got in Jul instead of the standard Jan raise..  
 
I will take my chances with another team since the membership @ US has not benefited but actually LOST JOBS and MONEY under the Current Regime.. I gave them 6yrs to do something positive and have yet to see anything positive.
 
SO in closing  CB I wish you and your family the best but have to say the person you have become to acheive that grand prize of getting "A JOB" was it really worth it.. Only you know the true answer to that.  
 
to my fellow union brothers / sisters   please take the time Thursday to come out and VOTE it the only thing the company and or the union cant take away from you.  Just be sure you know who you are really voting for..

I would say welcome back, but I'm pretty sure you haven't been gone knowing you. And you sure do have an awful lot to say to me on here when your not even able to speak to someone in the breakroom when you see them. Don't know why, maybe it's embarrassment because of the boat you jumped on. And get your facts straight about grievance committee, both Drennen and myself didn't want to be on anyone's slate, so I did t make up any slate. It was your boy RR that made sure he was in two slates. You have many facts wrong my friend, I stand by my email regardless of how you choose to spin it with your buddy Nelson. And we all know that you loved the Delaney ticket until you didn't get your coveted position you so badly wanted, then you decided that everyone was the enemy. I have no problem with the person I am. I'm not the one that's not man enough to speak to someone when they see them. How about picking your head up a little and say what's up. Especially since I've done nothing except be there for you in the past whenever you needed. But hey, sometimes people have to jump ship. I just think it's pretty funny, some of you guys who decided to get on the same team now, used to do nothing but sit and talk about each other and what a POS each one was. But each to their own. I'll be glad to remove you from the email if you want to text me your address since it upset you so bad.

your absolutely right you were there for a friend in need , thats why I am so disappointed in the person you have become . guess I wasn't really a friend but a mouth piece for you and MF . what I fool I was but heck thats life.  who sends who into the team office to make pages for whom.. guess MF didn't like you talking to the other side since I broke the golden rule and decided to run against the great NEW DIRECTION Machine.. shame on me. How would you ever know if in the same person or not. For some reason you went I the down low and decided to quite speaking. So you don't have a clue what my opinions are. And I don't have a clue what your talking about with your family. I have never said anything negative about your family on here or anywhere. I think family is off limits. If your talking about RR and me. His family is running. She is subject to be talked about just like anyone on the ticket. I've personally told her that I have no problem with her. I do have a problem with RR supporting her whole ticket. I don't have a problem with him supporting her. He is a US airways committee man, voted in the the membership to have their back. The Us airways members will be screwed big time of the other ticket succeeds. And yes that bothers me that he supports that being in his elected position. As far as phone numbers. I haven't deleted anyone's phone number including yours. So if you have any issues about family or whatever your talking about feel free to call.

tim,The how is you say that both tickets have the same amount of AGC's runing, while that is true, there are two (2) more US candidates on the incumbant slate than the U4C slate. Fundamentaly, not the whole truth that you tell. Nuff said.

again, please tell me how a admin spot on the eboard has benefitted our members? Exactly how have any of these anti union free loading usairways members on delaneys ticket benefitted anyone? They are all bobbleheads. Ive asked you to please name one thing these guts have done in 6 years? Sure, they got to vote on where to have the parties but please tell all of our members exactly one damn thing an eboard spot does for them?

That is hard to do when the union leaders and company are the same. We are suppose to hate injustice. 
 Regardless who wins, this won't stop until our members gain justice.  Even if I win, no congratulations until we clean this nasty union up.  This union has sucked balls for 15 years and every US AIRWAYS member knows it.  Certainly the current group hasn't made a difference.  Even if I lose, I won't be going anywhere, I have another 15 years to fight the corruption and injustice caused upon our peeps.

How do you know what is or isn't in this T/A that you speak of? I haven't seem anything in writing, have you? If you have please share it on here for all to see. Kind of like tim's "GHOST" term sheet tat was supposed to be out June 1, where is that? If/when a T/A is presented to us, I will read it for myself and make my own decision. I will not take the word of anybody who proclaims to "know" when all they know is heresay at this point. There is NO PROOF WHAT-SO-EVER as to what is or is not in any T/A! What ever comes out will be scrutinized, picked apart, and so on. But in the end, who decides if it is acceptable or not? We the members will let the NC and the company know. If it is rejected, the NC knows there needs to be more done, if it is accepted, they have done their job by a majority vote. I am going to use a line of tim's, mark my words, that if the U4C slate is successful, the US side will suffer greatly. PHL, PHX, and CLT will suffer because the lack of experience.

Spoke to a manager here in MIA yesterday and he informed me that they were just told "their" sick time policy was going to change. Starting at the end of the year they would be paid out of their sick bank at $8 per day. Next year they would be given 8 that they either use or lose each year and they will be given Long Term and Short Term disability insurance for if they go over the 8. 

Watch out for this in the future. Lower management is usually the testing ground for things they want to push for down the road.
