Thats for maintenance, not fleet.

Update: 14 June 2014: Download
Brothers and Sisters,

Your negotiating committee met this past week with US Airways representatives along with Linda Puchala of the National Mediation Board in Washington DC. The committee came to Washington DC after having positive movement in the previous meetings with the expectations of reaching an agreement to bring back to our members. During this week the committee battled long and hard each and every day and was not able to complete our goal . We have told both the National Mediation Board as well as US Airways that we would stay and work throughout the weekend to achieve our goal. We ask for your patience as well as your continued support and solidarity so that we can bring an agreement back for our members to ratify. We will also continue to update the membership on the status of these negotiations as we progress towards the conclusion of these talks.
                           Your Negotiating Committee

TA on a Section 6 contract between IAM represented Fleet Service and US Airways has been reached. Details to be released in the coming days.

Let's wait to see the details before celebration. Only wanted to update the posters on this forum. Like any TA, the membership should show due diligance in reviewing the TA, in it's entirety, before deciding. The NC fought into the Fathers Day weekend to get to this TA. Unless I see otherwise; I would have to believe it's respectable.

Cargo is correct,

The proper time for celebration is AFTER Membership ratification of a “Fair and Equitable” Agreement that returns the losses from years of bankruptcy compensation!

Every single Member needs to take the personal initiative to educate themselves regarding every facet of any Tentative presented for approval. Read every article, and most importantly, attend informational meetings where the N/C can answer any questions you may have.

To the N/C...

Thanks for sticking to your guns by not agreeing to abandon Section 6 in lieu of Transition promises. This strategy required patience and perseverance on your side, as well as the Membership’s side. It will hopefully be all well worth it...
