I still hope it gets vendored and the AA way prevails.

Josh
So you are a truly just a POS and evil.

So you are hoping PMUS employees lose their jobs?

How does your Buddy Tim feel that you want PMUS employees to lose their jobs?

Go get a life and get some help, have you driven by any IAM Local Lodges lately, like driving out of your way to stalk the offices?

And its called having a CBA, the catering work PMUS does is contractually protected, so maybe JP Morgan will lay you off and use a vendor to do your work.

Well if a vendor takes over than they will be giving other people jobs who don't have them.  And probably the delta (differential) between those peoples reservation wage (minimum they are willing to work) and the what they are actually paid may well be higher than the overpaid US catering employees.  Economic welfare could be maximized as the company cuts costs and the the contract workers are working above their reservation wage (minimum they would accept).

I similarly hope cargo gets insourced.  Unlike the IAM the TWU stood up for their members and cargo work is protected at the five hub stations while the IAM members have Air General and other contractors doing work that was once theirs.

Josh

Overpaid?

Lets cut your pay, and outsource your work.

You are nothing more than a hater, a liar, and a fraud.

Why did the IAM allow US to outsource cargo?  Same at UAL via side letter of agreement for sCO cargo.

Josh

This is US Airways, not United or Continental, want to know those answers which you already do, go post on the UA forum.

You have unanswered questions on the DL ramp forum.

You are nothing more than a little man who has no life, you lie, and you are a fraud.

I am growing tired of your lies.

Can SOMEONE please concentrate the topic of conversation to what's now important. THE TA!!!!

WeAAsles (think I spelled it right  🙂 )  I have a concern  given how the company drags their paws  that come 2017 if theres no deal  then itll be like the last few yrs no raises and a hell of a lot more bickering.  Im still viewing the TA  and focusing in on the scope in particular    Another thing is  it appears in the TA that the ot if on a swap will be unpaid in select cities giving whereas the states are  such as Califo   Have you had an opportunity to look at it?  I for one would like to hear your input bro

They don't pay OT now Robbed...There is a class action suit right now going on in CA that is trying to uphold the state law req OT for more than eight hrs worked ( no matter what the circumstance). The suit estimates that some are due as much as $60k+....we will see if the lawsuit has merit. If it does then swaps are dead ( per say) for those states....

Your TA came out just as I needed to leave for work so I've really only been able to brush over it from my phone. Hard to view. On the SCOPE I'd absolutely want some more clarity? Especially since the company looks like they are extending the offer to us as well. Our side has to ask the question "What do we get out of it"

A good question especially for our side also needs to be "What are the station RE staffing methodologies" If it's the same as our current book I just don't see many people being affected at returning to their former stations?

?????

If the company is given the golden goose of "Cross Utilization" what guarantees do we have that they don't drag this out for many years?

Are there any sidebar agreements to allow for fast track bargaining like the APA and APFA have?

?????

I see that the section for Ready Reserve employees (Article 8,D) has been struck out as they said it would.  I think that's great of course but did the company ever utilize RR at any of those stations listed?

mike  the way I was looking at it is if you were on a swap for 8.0 hr  then got OT afterwards  that where I was thinking they would not give the OT   Is the suit something along those lines?

WeAAsles  I too am looking for clarity on the scope..

Why aren't you carrying on about your beloved catering and door fees?  Maybe it will get contacted to LSG Skychefs and Gate Gourmet like AA has at their hubs!

There is a raise on DOS, a 2nd in Sept., a 3rd and probably 4th in 2015. A 5th in 2016 (if no Joint) and a 6th in 2017 (if no Joint).....but you're worried about 2018?

The Scope is a placemat until the Joint talks.
