Im not sure what you are talking about but i cant prove my future success as an agc until i am one. I do believe im very capable of cleaning up this huge mess these clowns did at US AIRWAYS and United that these guys have caused upon us.

700, i cant quote you for some reason but yeah i think. What i know is that prez simmons and fairbanks dont have what it takes as AH is eating them alive. What we dont know is if new candidates will suffer the same fate since thats in the future but i dont believe thats going to be the case.

Until then we shall see if it comes to pass.

One "oops" on your part. Last I checked Simmons wasn't even on the NC. You and your other inexperienced candidates are running against P Rez, Simmons and Fairbanks in the upcoming elections for AGC; yet you want us to believe your rhetoric is not politically motivated. You want the membership to believe by voting out experienced AGCs and replacing them with new inexperienced candidates the company will take an immediate about face in negotiations and grant us everything. Really? Who is demonstrating a lack of respect for the memberships' intellegence? The election in June is for DL Officers and AGCs. It is not an election of Negotiating Committee members. The results, one way or another, will not alter the demonic agenda the company has for this group in contract negotiations. The enemy remains the same.

Besides the letter you posted from Mr. Hughes, who was I believe the person who nominated AV at the LL meeting, I have to wonder who you've been talking to in PHX that thinks he has "what it takes".

I myself would be uncomfortable working with prez since i believe he is simply too comfortable with management and doesnt understand the core of labor.

If you want to see someone being "comfortable with management" you should see AV trying to get a VTO green slip signed.

OK so you made your point on ONE thing you feel the TWU has done. While your on a roll and have everybody's attention can you please tell us the other accomplishments the TWU has done for our profession? Here is a list. Please tell us how well the TWU has done on these with the same enthusiasm.
 
1) Two Tier pay scale
2) Two Tier vacation scale
3) Five paid vacation days
4) Reduced Vacation multiplier
5) Elimination of double time O/T
6) Ten days of IOD pay
7) Elimination of retirement Prefunding
8) Elimination of Penalty hour
9) Frozen Pensions
10) Reduction in Shift Premiums
11) Elimination of Longevity pay
12) Elimination of meal allowance
13) Removal of Cap on Flex benefits
14) Transfer lockout from 6 months to 1 year
15) New Line qual test (virtually impossible to pass)
16) Elimination of Profit Sharing
 
This should be enough to keep you busy. I am sure others can add to the list in a timely manner. Please take my request seriously. We all want to know how these items have benefited the AMT at AA with the same enthusiasm you have about the ASAP program.

I have always been passionate about helping the membership and wish you would stop the dirty politics. How do you expect the membership to benefit if some actually believe that me and my teammates are garbage? You are not helping unless dividing the membership is your goal. Management must love all of the drama you create. Please stop and help instead.

You are being intellectually dishonest while presenting an ambiguous and broad statement like “Kindly tell us what they have negotiated in 6 years?” NEWS FLASH...
 
We were under a BK agreement forced onto the Membership under the threat of abrogation when they took office. They entered the Section Six talks as soon as the amendable date made it possible to re-negotiate that agreement per the Railway Labor Act. Since it takes up to... and often well over 4 years to conclude the average Section Six Agreement, they are EXACTLY on schedule to achieve precisely what they were elected to do!

Again Tim. The election in June is not about contract negotiations and what has been negotiated in 6 years. It, for the most part, is about which candidates are best suited to be AGC representatives of the membership. In our case; which candidates are best suited and experienced to represent grievances on the US side. Nothing more and nothing less. Of course when your running mates come up short on this issue the focus must be changed. The focus must be shifted to contract negotiations. An area that represents the most frustration among the membership. Especially the UA members. I understand the strategy. I understand you are hoping to tap the anticipated dissention among the UA members at any cost. I'm not convinced the vote for change will produce anything regarding the direction of negotiations at US. I am convinced a vote for change will produce AGCs on the US side who have no grievance representation. Talk about getting eaten alive. I am convinced it will produce dirty politics, within the DL leadership, for the next two years, that wil be counter productive to advancing the members' best interests. Not buying it. Nor should the US membership.

You are terrible Prez.  As a union rep.  You guys have failed in 6 years and now are on the verge of selling the membership out.  Prez,  the members want to know, you are going to agree to American wages of $23.30 as of September 12?   Stop the rhetoric and answer the question.
