now isnt the time for you talking smack about twu and i wouldnt be surprised if u r amfa front man to sabatoge the twu for the iam.
I've seen 700's posts and am sure that he is not an AMFA front man. I don't think he's a fan of the TWU either though and deep down suspect that he really doesn't care for the idea of the association?

Be that as it may I do admire his support for his union.

So what about the 2003 concessions that were imposed?

Not imposed. Ultimately agreed to by the membership.

And it wasnt a slight to you, it was a response to Josh, who for someone reasons has a hard on for the IAM and US.

You mean Charlie right? Edger's hand puppet.

What happened in Chapter 11 to the mechanics are facts, and they got a worse deal than we did in both our chapter 11 cases.

Very debatable if you factor in jobs and work as you can see many on that other thread don't really give a rats ass about.

He would never admit it, but in the late 2012/early 2013 timeframe he had significant participation in the numerous IAM vs TWU threads on the AA and US forums.

You are FSC, the AA AMTs overwhelmingly support AMFA.  If given the choice IAM, TWU, or Association, TWU would be the way to go.  The IAM has destroyed your craft at Hawaiian and United, tons of outsourcing loop holes in the current US CBA.  I mean TWU protected 17 stations in bankruptcy, IAM could only protect seven stations outside of bankruptcy when they had leverage in joint negotiations. Pathetic, anyway you look at it.

Josh
Is that an indictment of the IAM, or just DL141?

If you want to take about what "was saved" in BK, then one should note that DL143 "saved" 40 stations for NW during BK, and that the former Scope at UA we're now mourning came through the same wringer.

I do support the association fully, its better than a war between the unions and the chance of of the members at PMUS and PMAA being non-union.

Remember when Robert Roach said the membership was "confused" about concessions after they rejected it?  He hasn't worked under a concessionary agreement, his pay keeps getting fatter.

Josh
That was the agreement where 700 was in support and on the negotiations team but realized he negotiated himself out of a job and started telling people to vote no. But it was too late. Then came all the suspicious activities of 1725 but 700 seems to have a gag order over that. I really would like to know what the secret deal was.

Which is my point that if the scope protecting ~50 odd stations that see a single mainline UAL flight was viable in 2005 at the depths of the bankruptcy, the industry has restructured and more stable now, no reason they should have rolled over so easily and given it away.  I think we actually are in agreement here. And isn't it odd that as you say the actions of DL (District Lodge) 143 have disproportionately benefited the unorganized DL (Delta Air Lines) employees.

That was then, this is now. Again I have NO problem with a man supporting his union. I'd like to see that fire more often.

I don't know what that means. You're gonna have to unpack that one a bit if you want me to respond clearly...

Wrong Tim,

That was the 2002 bankruptcy, I was not on the Negotiating Committee.

And here you go again, making up things and red herrings.

We never reached an agreement in the 2004/2005 case as it would have laidoff 46% of the membership, how many times are you going to lie about it?

The CBA was abrogated and I wasnt utility, so how did I negotiate myself out of a job, when one, we never agreed to concessions, and two I wasnt Utility?

I was a stock clerk when I left US.

And as for as 1725, you are making up some serious accusations, shall I pass them on to Bill Wise for you?

There is no gag order and no secret deal.

Your posts, your lies show you have zero credibility and will say and lie about anything for a vote or discredit someone.

You were the one removed from office, cant get elected to the district or the international and made up a union three times and tried to raid US and AA.

You are exactly what is wrong with the labor movement.

Oh and don't get me wrong people. There is a part of me deep down inside that says give me $30 per hour and dump all those little stations with a buyout package so they don't come into my hub.

Problem is I don't really like that little part of me. But I know he exists.
