Not employed by US, no voting rights, no connection to the IAM, will never work under our future CBA, has nothing in the game and is a pain in the arse of everyone on this thread.
I'm talking about two poster's. Anyone care to guess who they are?

Mr Nelson,
does the voting start tomorrow? I have a set of used knee pads, do you know of anyone who may need them before I put them on e-bay?

harry,  I do understand your point of   no way,, the fact that has happen in our station is bec I am one of some folks that will not scan bags while inside the bin and having to off load it at same time nor scan and on load at same time..  to me that's unsafe and time consuming which can and has caused delays before..  but at same time mgmt. gets quite testy if the flight.... in particular the phx bound goes even 1 min late.   its been couple of yrs since that happen  but we did get lit help..

PRez,

Respectfully, I have mentioned in this forum several months ago about the repeated pattern of agents having to scan and throw bags from the bulked-out aft A320 bin, and this practice continues.  According to several former PHL and CLT guys now in PHX, such practice would not be allowed to happen in those East stations, but you allow it to happen, even after I brought it to your attention and we had a brief PM exchange on the matter.

I have had the "opportunity" recently to load cargo and bags solo in the forward bin of an A321 due to the lack of staff and Management demands to turn these planes on time.  Frankly, I have little faith in my local PHX to protect me if I refuse to work under such conditions.  I am not going to accuse you of being chummy with Management, but honestly, you appear soft on worker safety regardless of A.G. walking around with a clip board documenting equipment deficiencies.

Kindly don't offer me the opportunity to speak with you personally about the matter, because issues of safety should be paramount regardless if it be done in person or through a message board.
I have had the opportunity to work in PHX and on the east side of the country and the difference between pre-merger US and HP stations is night and day. PHX lacked equipment on their gates. Push tags had to be shared amongst gates. No bag tugs to pull the tail carts to the aircraft - they had to be pulled by hand. In the morning before flights came in crews had to search as far as the hangar for tugs, towbars, chocks... If the crew had to use the restroom or go to the breakroom one member of the crew had to stay on the gate for guard duty - to make sure no one stole the equipment off the gate. In my discussions with people from PHX nothing has changed. In PRez's defense, this is all considered normal in PHX and he probably doesn't know that this is NOT how things are done elsewhere. And loading and unloading bins by yourself? That won't happen here. They'll look at you like you fell out of a tree.

Another shocking aspect of PHX compared to the east is the amount of physical altercations and the behavior of employees against one another. IIRC there was a time period in which we were having at least one fight per week. Several of my coworkers were terminated for fighting. Good people but stressed by management to the point where they would explode. BOOM. Here out east I don't know of any fights. It's unheard of. But to PHX this is NORMAL. But it's not normal. The way people communicate to one another in PHX is not normal. People you don't even know will just come up to you, scream in your face and call you every nasty name in the book.

My recommendation is for PRez to come to an east coast hub and see normal. A push tug at every gate. A bag tug for tail carts and another for local bags. Two beltloaders at every gate. Managers who stay in their office and don't "help" on the ramp. Fellow employees who don't scream in your face with frothing saliva in the corners of their mouths.

Takes me back to my days as a green vest. Will elaborate on your post later, but how long since you worked in PHX may I ask?

And when it comes to scanning on the offload I usually scan whichever tags are immediately visible and then toss it aside. Easy peasy.

All this talk and you don't even know when the voting starts?

Not that I agree with your entire statement or that your post is necessarily brilliant, but it does serve as perhaps the best post over the last several days on this forum.  I could be a horse's ass and even a complete and utter #### but we have bobbleheads now and both Delaney and management seem pretty comfortable with that.
lol. you are an asshole Tim but that's exactly what we need. I've had enough of the bobbleheads.  I like you but I'm not voting on you because I like you, I'm voting for you because you have always fought and I'd be shocked if you ended up rolling over like those in office now.

Yeah, assuming I don't get a bin full of wheels facing out or the handles lying flat on the floor... JFK, LAX, ORD and PIT are becoming the worse in that respect.  Assuming the "stack" isn't more akin to a pile or mound in the bins.

In fairness, PHX sends us some doozies. Transfer bags buried behind locals and stacked at the very back of the fwd bin of a 321... Glass houses and all...

Left in 07. Went back east as a close family member had cancer.

I'm certainly glad to see this forum take a break from the personal attacks... I ask Josh, Bluto, Rockit, and Nelson to please refrain the political mudslinging and grandstanding. The election numbers should be set in stone by now, so such behavior won't garner, or lose you any votes either way...

To the N/C... hang in there, and don't let the negativity spewing like venom from a few anonymous posters on here sway your focus...

You have to be an ass don't you?  Well, at least I like that you listened to me and put up your "Lock and Load" back up.
