I mean the contract could say that not even twu or iam is doing our work they are going to call unemployed trolls who lost their bridges due to massive winter storms this year...(good news for some on this board) it could say that, but probably wont, but until we see the language its all hot air scare mongering on those that make points with nothing to back it up!
 
I suggest we be patient. Wait for the details to be released. Wait for the station visits where questions can be answered. Until then we are speculating based on a vague highlight sheet. Let's exercise due diligance in reviewing the facts and details of the agreement. Get authorative answers and clarification to questions. Let's wait for it to come fully to the light. Until then let's refrain from a rush to judgement based soley on speculation and possible misinterpretation.

This is one of the reasons that I came on here months ago to contribute. The thing we have to get through our heads is that we are going to be ONE group in the future. Right now there are more of your guys doing our "former" work than vice versa. For now I'm more than fine with that.

I would much rather know that a Union brother or sister and soon to be family member is doing that work than some low paid, no balls to organize slugs.

there really isnt anything political about it. Most usairways already voted. If you dont want to be a part of the conversation then dont bust on me or others who are just talking about the highlight sheet.

I never said for anyone to stop talking, I said you and others are speculating, nothing official is out besides the term sheet, so you are posting information with no backup.

I dont like the idea of new cross utilization language for starters.

I just hope the union leaders tell the whole truth and dont lie to our people like how they lied at united.
 
Alright looking at the highlight sheet for Maintenance and of course assuming that Fleet will have the same language (Sept 2015 industry averaging) what will our all in rate be?

DAL (currently) $23.86
UAL $24.60
AA $23.48

Average $23.85

And that does not include the longevity of each airline that is also included.

Tim the wording is "In the event of cross utilization"

So that does not mean it's a guarantee? Say we gained a deal to fast track negotiations like the APFA has for cross utilizing?

That kind of agreement could be possible with some guaranteed parameters already built in?

Is this above and beyond the earlier posts of things you didnt like the idea of?  
 
i mean for starters?  maybe you should have started with that, not the other 4 things you "dont like the idea of" but have no basis to make any of the claims you have made... highlight sheets are not the end all be all and just because something is not on it doesnt mean you get to make things up! absense of it on the highlight sheet doesnt give you free reign to assume something is on there!!! when there is zero evidence except you having diarrhea of the mouth...

Im uncomfortable opening any scope until after a joint. I dont buy the whole "quick" negotiations especially if management gets rewarded with 1.5% pay increases for 2016 and 2017 if they stall.

Is it going to kill you to give it a couple of days to be put together and brought out Tim? After it ALL comes out we can have plenty of debate.

Take a freakin chill pill just for once.
