Just for clarity. The chart shows 3% on date of signing. That would be for all steps up to the top out rate. The top out rate will be a 9.53% increase as stated in the update on the IAM webpage.700UW said:
Huh?700UW said:If you do the math, that 9.53% is reflecting in DOS, do the math from the 2012 rate to the DOS rate, you get a $1.96 then the 3% is done off of that.
That's what I originally said. Or at least said or meant. MATH, Pfft.700UW said:Look at the rate for 12 years it is $20.57 then at DOS it is $22.53.
20.57X3%=.61, 20.57+.61=$21.18 but the rate in the scale is $22.53.
20.57x9.53%=1.96, 1.96+20.57=22.53

Tim,Tim Nelson said:Let's wait and see exactly what is in this. A lot of rumors out there how we gave up part time rules and the scope got a drop dead date prior to the ammendability. The highlight said scope for the entire duration but others have said that is inaccurate. The negotiators refuse to talk about health care as well, and that this deal does nothing for part timers. Whatever the case, I'm beginning to wonder if this is maybe a cost negative deal and not even cost neutral. They refuse to bring it out due to political elections. Hopefully, they will have the deal online after the officer elections next week. Until then, who knows but it doesn't look good if the negotiators intentionally only put out a wage scale. Why put out a wage scale and bias everything, it should have all been put out together if anything was going to come out. Something is wrong.
Election is pretty much over. My comments were not political. Good to hear no Cindy dates. What about part time % and health care?P. REZ said:Tim,
If you remember the issues from the roll out of the 2008 agreement, that is why there is a slight delay in getting this out. The attempt is to get the verbiage correct to eliminate confusion later. There is nothing to hide, no Cinderella dates, etc. This is a solid agreement. I know that there is an election going on but this really has nothing to do with that. I do hope the whole contract is out soon for all to see. The highlight sheet will be proven.

Nothing given up. I know from past experiences some are pessimistic, but everyone will IMO, be happy with the end result.

Tim, are you conceding that your team has pretty much LOST this election? what happened to the "Great Pain" 141R was supposed to experience?Tim Nelson said:Election is pretty much over. My comments were not political. Good to hear no Cindy dates. What about part time % and health care?
idk, from what I heard it was pretty close, esp considering one side flying around the country on their own dime and the other had positive space. Hopefully the winning side will view this as a wake up call and react accordingly.roabilly said:Tim, are you conceding that your team has pretty much LOST this election? what happened to the "Great Pain" 141R was supposed to experience?
