Members of a committee are publicly revealing and opposing details of an ongoing negotiation (they think they are entitled to continue doing so for another 30 days), which by definition are interfering with negotiations.  At a very minimum their unprofessional interference and attempt to manipulate the parties has caused a delay in the process.   If members of the committee were not required to sign a non-disclosure agreement then APA and USAPA F-ed up and need to fix that post haste.
 
Their resignation should be accepted as effective immediately and they should consider themselves lucky if they are not excoriated for their unprofessional behavior.

No.  Assuming there is not already a non-disclosure agreement in place (could two West pilots really be that stupid?), USAPA should just present all members of the merger committee a non-disclosure agreement for their immediate signature (as a condition to continue on the committee).

Oh c'mon Phoenix, I thought we were done attacking each other after the Rico charges were dropped. It didn't look to me like they exposed USAPA's negotiating tactic. Everyone already knew it wasn't the Nic 🙂
