I would have thought you would have learned by now that you never put a firm date on anything to do with the airline industry.

No,   firm date on you being correct about anything.   So far you have a 100% rate at being wrong on everything you have stated as "done" "over" etc etc
 
How about a new approach?    Toss a "I think" or an "it's possible" out there instead,  you would look a lot less silly in your predictions.
 
Welp, the APA boys are seeing now what the west has been dealing with for seven years.  And they certainly are getting their eyes opened thanks to that typically-stupid east update put out a couple days ago... Created quite a ruckus with them AA boys.  But alas, our new union put out a very eloquent piece about how completely incorrect the east boys are.  Did you clowns see it???  I can post it again if you want.  But, the reality of the situation is this: you guys  are burned toast.

Yet it's OK to agree to binding arbitration and then if you don't like the outcome, form your own club and make the rules up as you go along.

I'm sure if USAPA ran a casino, there would not be many winners other than the house.

Pretty soon everyone picks up their chips and leaves Circus Circus for the APA.
 
So tonight, we are getting even more of an indication how quickly the retards out east are about to get their jihad union flushed like the turd it has always been down the toilet.  Did you'se see that nice little letter the company sent the NMB the day prior to the APA meeting with them?  Woah!!!  That was a pretty detailed synopsis about the rapid integration between the two companies.  And the next day APA meets with the NMB, then the next day after that the APA files for single carrier.  Hmmmm... Seems the clock is winding down for the turd's union, and quickly too!  

Once we get a new CBA (as soon as March) maybe we can all learn to be good union pilots!!!  Support our union and understand that we all have a gold standard to live by!

You really have no experience with this merging stuff do you?    
 
So far in the AA merger process we have seen nothing new that we did not see in the previous 4 mergers.      Although I do think the countdown clocks were a new twist in the AWA one.    
 
APA will do everything possible to get their pilots the best position in the merger,  USAPA will do the same, including trying to get you the best spot they can,  whats good for the west is good for the east and vice versa this time around.   AOL........well they will be screaming NIC or nothing at the APA before its done and there is a good chance in a year when USAPA is dead and gone you will still be on here screaming about how you were screwed by your union, except it will be APA this time instead of USAPA.
 
I know this is going to be a real killer for you,  but you and I are in the very same boat.   USAPA is our only chance at getting a decent deal out of this AA merger.   if they hose it up both you and I are screwed.   
 
The difference between me and you is I hope they don't screw it up,   you in effect are praying that you will get royally hosed in the APA integration.

How's this:  USAPA is gone before seniority is even looked at.  The APA is going to manage this integration, just like FUKU was trying to do with east and west.  But, your clock ran out because, well, you only had almost six years to pass that DoH list which never saw the light of day.  Hmmmm.  Welp, that's yesterday's news, just like Bradford and his bunch.  
We at least have a lot to look forward to, and I am sure the APA will be fair to us all.  They do have a tendency to not regurgitate already settled labor agreements (like, say, TWA/AA and probably AWA/U).  It's better that way- following the rules and all.  That's probably foreign to a lot of you, as Judge Silver identified in her latest opinion.  
Remember, be a good union pilot!

Wow!...And Santa Claus will bring you that pony you always wanted! Why...just their previous treatment of the Air Cal and TWA people alone removes all possible doubt!...That last being the very reason for MB legislation to have even been passed!...And here; I'd not believed anyone even capable of parking a car, could actually be THAT mentally deficient. Whew! Keep the chuckles coming. 😉
 
Thinking about Asheville again.  A320 captain, mid level line holder until I can bid 330 left seat in CLT... prolly five years away.

Holy crap Prechilli, you cannot possibly be that dense.      If what you want to happen actually does happen APA is going to chew you up and spit you out.     You might want to look into the history books a bit,  Start with Reno Air and TWA and work your way back.

While I too am still sometimes amazed, well "Holy crap Prechilli, you cannot possibly be that dense" flies in the face of years of empirical evidence to the contrary.
