Hey DODSON......NOBODY CARES.

As memory serves, that was spoken by the arrogant and wholly narcicisstic Nedry character in the film Jurassic Park....And how did things end for him? 😉

Pay particular attention to: "Has a very strong sense of entitlement, e.g., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations."

Indeed. One can't even possibly imagine otherwise, especially if "His kids hate him too."!!! 😉

As usual, you left a lot out there. Especially the best posts! Anyway, here is one from a DL pilot that told you months ago that you would lose this:

"Well now that it's done, I'd like to restate what I posted a long time ago...FWIW. USAPA should present the two separate lists that are currently in use. The current west list and the current east list. Does USAPA have the power to present a date of hire list? Yes, but it would be foolish IMO. Nobody could successfully claim DFR by submitting lists that they are currently living with. East pilots would have the victory of never having the Nic implemented, but not the huge windfall of a date of hire list. West pilots would have the victory of not having date of hire jammed down their throats, but not the huge windfall of the unimplemented Nicolau award.

It will be an unwise overreach if USAPA tries to submit anything other than the two separate current lists. It will be an unwise waste of money if west pilots continue to sue for implementation of their unimplemented windfall."

You're not WD on there, are you?

I put you in the Bob camp of supporting your team, integrity be damned. That's OK, I expect you to support East pilots yet there are East pilots who  are a part of your "team" who don't support the coach, USAPA. There are a number of East pilots who did not vote for USAPA, I think maybe you were one of those pilots. I think your objectives were the same, DOH and maybe you thought ALPA may have the better vehicle to make an escape from the arbitrated award.

Fast forward to present day, I'm in Falfurrias, TX on a hunting trip when Judge Silver makes her decision. The East is claiming total victory, I'm thinking, read the 22 or 23 pages of the ruling at some point, meanwhile not let it ruin my trip. It's not the end of the world. USAPA could not wait to claim total victory. I wonder, how many of you bothered to read the ruling? She did not side with yousapaians in a moral sense and in fact disgusted by certain actions by your union's attorney.

Back to my trip, I enjoyed a good game on KRISTV. Congrats to both the 49'ers and to the Panthers for a good game.

Denver, SD next.

Actually, I found the word I was looking for, Phallic. It's symbolism.
I picture y'all as the symbol placed on your shoulders.
Yousapians have earned it amongst your peers in the industry.
Congrats!
Loser

You don't seem to be good at reading comprehension today. He did not call you a socialist. He called you "loser." 😀

Sure seems like a lot of warnings going on, but from most of the seniority list suggestions i've read lately i'd say there looks to unfurtunately be a lot of over reaching going on. Oh well, what's that saying about history repeating?

We've been paying attention, whether deserved or not. Socialist works for me as your evidenced, actual philosophy, all BS to the contrary. My Family, on this continent, goes back to serving in the Army of the Republic of Texas, and every American war since, although once against the northern/federal colors, and I've never been taught ANYTHING that even at all suggests the idea of placing a new hire, within the same class and craft, "senior" to any person who's worked 16-17 years as being anything other than an utterly immoral abomination. "You'se" actual mileage may/does clearly vary, but I'd doubt your family would feel comfortable lunching with mine...especially if caught greedily reaching across the table. 😉

GO "spartans", and of course "Click to Donate"/etc.

East pilots should be very proud of their stamina.  Do not forget that alpa tried to shove a seniority list down the throats of the East pilots in anticipation of a ual merger.

The feeling of accomplishment and spiking the ball should be directed towards alpa, they set this whole debacle up.  East pilots kicked the living waste products out of them.

Us Airways, America West Seniority Dispute rough draft timeline

2005-2006  US Airways, United in merger talks

2005 Us Airways, America West merge

May 2007  Arbitrator George Nicolau’ pilot seniority award was issued.  The award was written with the assistance of two ALPA pilot neutrals, Steve Gillen United Airlines Pilot and  Jim Brucia former Continental pilot now United Airlines Pilot.

2007 Us Airways pilots ask ALPA to review the award.  ALPA president  John Prater, former Continental pilot now United Airlines pilot, assigns ALPA vice president Paul Rice, United pilot,  to review the award.

December 2007,  Paul Rice, United pilot, delivers seniority list to Us Airways.

2007  A group of Us Airways pilots start a drive to start their own in house pilot union.

March 2008  ALPA puts the Us Airways ALPA Mec in trusteeship.

April  2008  In a National Mediation Board sanctioned election, Us Airways pilots oust ALPA and vote in USAPA as their official pilot representative.

May 2008  United calls off merger talk with Us Airways.

June 24, 2008   United Airlines starts furloughing pilots that will eventually lead to 1450 pilots at United on the street.  Had a merger occurred using the Nicolau award derived with the assistance of United pilot neutrals,  Us Airways pilots would have suffered the brunt of the furloughs and few United pilots would have been affected.

2008  America West pilots sue for DFR against USAPA.

2009  2010 US Airways and United restart merger talks.

April 2010  United Us Airways end merger talks.

June 2010  The 9th circuit court rules in USAPA’s favor.

That is pretty funny. I thought i was the resident youngin' democrat. Although i must say i've been fairly disgusted with my party as of late.

'Bout time Bean. Both supposed "sides" seem little more than bought-and-paid-for Tools (all definitions except useful equipment included) of their much-moneyed-masters these days.

That unfortunately is the sad truth.
