A dead "union" no longer relevant to the APA and west pilots.

Yet you still pay them dues. Why?

west pilots constant mantra of karma and justice. Perhaps their address is the one karma seeks to visit......

A major oversight on your part there sir, lies within failing to note that "the rest of world" unquestionably and entirely supports them in their noble and righteous crusade, and that's even without any necessary reliance on "karma"...or Santa Claus/the Easter Bunny/the Tooth Fairy and all similar fantasies. 😉 I really should know better by now, than to ever suggest the thought of actually growing up as even a potentially viable option for such sadly delusional, perpetual adolescents.

Speaking of sadly delusional, perpetual adolescents, "karma"/Santa Claus/the Easter Bunny/the Tooth Fairy and all similar fantasies......prechilill: "I'm sure the APA will be fair to us all". Ya' just couldn't ever even begin to make this stuff up. 🙂

. That's funny, yea I'm sure the APA loves the west and wants to place them at the top of the list in wide body planes. With the wests sense of entitlement they believe that.

Their own seniority and DFR are not related.
 
No DFR is one reason why this is going to arbitration no matter how much luvthe9 begs APA to negotiate seniority with "nice protections".

Brings to mind the baiting and begging west pilots laid out for the Kirby Proposal, which would trigger the Nic.
Now the Nicolau was voted away by the west in the MOU. Now east pilots are the highest paid, with the most upgrades and wide body pay. New hires in captain seats.
Karma, yes she can be a *****. She seems to visit in her most angry mood in the PHX environs.

A natural certainty, I'd think. Who could even possibly doubt that? My understanding is that the APA is, even as we speak, establishing a fund for the setting of magnificent statues to properly honor "sparta" at each and every one of their domiciles. The only presumably temporary hold up there's in contracting the world's most talented sculptors for that holy and righteous undertaking. 😉

Looks like we are now 2 days past the deadline for selecting the three neutral arbitrators according to the MOU. 10.a., lines 2-4. The should be starting on the new JCBA(but probably won't). Now we wait for the NMB's decision to start another clock, but can it move forward without the missed fifteen day selection of arbitrators for MB being met?

I'll submit that tells some degree of the story right there. Paperwork, versus reality, often differs as we all too well know. Being the cynical bastige I am; I've not yet dismissed the thought that the APA's trying to engineer a wholesale end run around MBond, and will only take part if/when forced to do so.

Wasn't the entire timeline moved back 30 days to accomodate the silver decision? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.....
