9-- Months From Now ?

Depending on what AA thinks the 20 year outlook is, the replacement for the MD-80 will be either the 737-700 or -800. The big question is if they see the continued splintering of feed with more RJ's, and if the -700 will supplement those at peak times. Or, they can have fewer RJ's and fewer R/T's in feeder markets. Given the economics of the ERJ 190's in the hands of the LCC's I think 50 seat RJ's will be scarce in medium sized cities in 10-15 years.
