One of the first lessons that I've learned(so far) as a new member among you, is that there are Many opinions.

So it's with some -- that I offer up one of my own.

I'm not overly surprised that the polls have tightened(evidently Senator McCain is now slightly ahead), but I do expect this race to be a "nail biter----horse-race---right down to the very last vote.
What then, might be the deciding factor ?
In my humblest opinion I'm predicting that it will come down to President GW Bush himself.(this could very well be the "tie-breaker" that I mentioned in the topic opener).

Though a "maverick", not always alligned with the current inadequate administration,Senator McCain is nonetheless more closely alligned with GWB !
That famous photo that we've all seen before(the one with Senator McCain in a loving full embrace of the President) will I, strongly suspect, be shown Over and Over and Over again to the American voters.
This alone "may" be the Actual deal maker/breaker.

You may be right but I sure hope it is not even close. I really do not want any question as to who wins whether it be McCain or Obama. Of course I hope it is Obama but either way I hope that the win is enough that it is clear that the majority of the country is behind whoever wins. If it is close and McCain wins I will not trust the election. With both of Bush's election wins having a cloud of suspicion over them I do not want that to happen again. And if it happens again in favor of the republicans I personally will be very suspicious. Lets hope that it is a clean win.

Congratulation on your recent discovery that people have many opinions.

I understand that Reverend (God Damn America) Jeremiah Wright is coming out with his new book in . . . October. You think we’ll be seeing a lot of this picture in the very near future?

Deal breaker?

Difference: Obama repudiated Rev. Wright. Thus far, McSame has not repudiated Shrub. In fact, the closer we get to the election, the more McSame all of a sudden is agreeing with the policies and actions of Shrub's administration.

But then, even Shrub knows how many houses he owns--one. McSame said the other day he would have to "check with his staff." Even the staff member assigned to cover this gaffe said that he "thought 3 or 4." McSame, a man of the people. I have a hard time remembering how many houses I own, too. (Not)

Deal breaker?

Maybe Chief of Staff?

Ought to be some cool campaign ads featuring the esteemed reverend.
