A321

As always EMBFA a perfect example of what the experience is like. Your posts are ALWAYS dead on. I don't understand how any of this is acceptable as a customer experience. It's total BULL$H!T ! ! !

I am gonna sit in Row 1 C-D. :bleh: :bleh: :bleh:

 Just imagine some of our hot flight attenants giving you the "Sharon Stone" leg cross. YIKES.

ANOTHER favorite jumpseat of mine. Talk about everyone in each others business.

I love how they are so anti-closet that they just left that huge space on the E190 in front of 2A where its supposed to be. And yes, 1D on the 190 is the flight attendant crotch familiarization seat. A friend of mine was A and he said "Bananas and nuts in first class today!"

I'm curious as to where they plan on putting glassware on meal flights on these planes? Maybe they'll be in an overhead bin or in a doghouse, or readily available in the seatback pockets?

Its a disaster like the 320. Catering supplies in the overhead,
The last row of first not only doesn't recline, its so flush against the flimsy bulkhead that even if you tried to hang a coat you couldn't. If you sit in your jumpseat and turn the work light on, you blind the first row. Like on the awful 320 you are on display, no privacy even when your in the galley. Its just uncomfortable. A miserable experience for all, in particular the first class customers. But dont worry Tempe, we'll handle the looks of disapointment or disgust, or worse abuse from our FC customers, you guys just keep counting the money from all these extra seats.

sky high states: LOL. Loved your post, EMB. Finally walked onto one the other day, thought, OK, take EVERYTHING in so I can report back to the board here. Your post is a great reflection of everyone's thoughts. It's a TUNA CAN.
Frequent flyers, seems like ROW ONE is the most comfortable looking row on the A321 now.

what's up with the DOGHOUSE at 2-R? Couldnt they just REMOVE IT, and place the equipment behind the jumpseat? (picture the MD-80, 2R) so passengers can USE the underseat space? And, remove the bulkhead wall at 2-L for the same reason?

All in all, reduced galley space. lack of supply space and MORE SEATS. It mirrors the A320 galley now.

*DELETED*

Lol, I was about to bring it in the wrong direction...

EMBFA, thanks for the sad but interesting report on working the new and un-improved 321. As I have not walked onboard once have a question. Is there a small bulkhead between seats 1AC and the 1L door is their nothing there ?

On a side note Ship 162 goes on line this morning (May 1) as the third 321 in the new config. 3 more are currently in PIT MTC getting their makeovers.

Regards

There is one of those flimsy partitions like on the butchered A320. They dont go all the way to the ceiling, they stop at the overhead. They are already loose, they shake when people put thier feet on them. You know how the Airbuses already feel like they are going to break? Its worse now, the overhead bins and the partitions shake during takeoff and it feels like something is going to break. Also, the lighting doesn't match, where the gallies and closets were the lights are white, the others are yellow. It just looks terrible and awkward. Like the A320 you kind of have to see it to believe it.

Its a disaster like the 320. Catering supplies in the overhead, you have to remove peoples luggage to get a gray trash bag of crushed Cape Cod chips out from behind it.

sky high states: I wonder where the GLASSWARE will go. First cart has soda's/liquor. The second cart has the meals, trays, cake/pie, rolls, etc. The third cart has a case of water/extra ice. The fourth half cart has extra soda's and the half trash cart.

WHERE?
