AA breaks its silence on labor talks

He was an A&P with UAL. He hired in early 2000. Given the base closures his chances of getting a recall anytime soon are rather slim.
Would he actually go back? Those that I've spoken to that were laid off from JFK said they wouldnt come back. One, who was hired by Continental and commutes from Queens to NJ laughed at the mention of recall and said even if they raised pay back to what it was he wouldnt go back.
