Why is there an American Airlines MD-80 Ship 507 parked at NWA Gate C7 in MSP and not listed on any of the monitors? I like the Polished Aluminum look.

That is about as close as you will ever get to AA metal, SCAB!

The 800lb GorillAA is on the hunt to take over another airline. Watch out PTO, you may have no job soon!!

Well Scabby, since most of NWA's fleet is unairworthy and broken down most of the time, maybe AA is going to take over some of NWA's underused gates in MSP. AA is going to have to take up the slack when NWA goes Chapter 7 anyway.

Once AA buys most of NW and fires its scab mechanics, there will be plenty of work for AA's fine maintenance professionals.

Boy you guys are just a barrel of laughs. Not exactly the answer I was looking for but I shouldn't expect anything less? I didn't know that AA had any dealings with ScabAir.

If an NWA aircraft sits on the ground for more than six hours we perform a T/A check on it. I would think that you guys have pretty much the same policies. It looks as if this aircraft is going to RON here. Who is going to do the Wake-up and perform any prior to flight checks?

If a NWA jet sits on the ground longer than six hours it is more than likely broken due to SCAB maintenance.

Now return to your SCAB airline board and stop filling this sight with your SCABNESS.

AA likes to park a shiney MD-80 next to your scab "maintained" junk as an example of what the poor passengers that fly on your shell of an airline could fly on. 😉

Now be gone with your scab self, the stench of you is overwhelming. 😛h34r:

I guess the NWA AMT's at MSP will be turning that bird for you guys this morning. Thats very interesting.

Obviously a false statement meant to get an emotional reaction out of people. Since AA has AMT's at MSP there's not much need for having NWA AMT's getting anywhere near an AA a/c.

We now interrupt this debate of great minds for the answer...

AA has more RONs than gates at MSP. The extra RONs park at NW gates.

Now, please, continue with the enthralling discourse...

Thank you Connected1, I did not know. I just saw the one and it really looked out of place is all.

Some of the AA guys here like to rag on NWA for flying the DC-9's because the aircraft is so old and inefficient. The MD-80 looks as if it is just as inefficient. Is this a true assumption?

Different engines for starters.

AA's are also maintained by professionals, unlike NWA's.

PTO,

How long have you been at MSP? AA has been parking overnight A/C on NWA gates for years. They all get some sort of check done on them as well. What AA guys at MSP do you talk to? I really doubt you're having casual conversation with any AMTs at MSP, as it is bad form for us to consort with scabs. 😉
