because unemployment ran out?Why would anybody in their right mind even want to work here? Seriously.
I heard they all came from Eagle and will get thier seniority under our new agreement coming soon.
Except they have the same company date as occupational date which means they came off the street.
Guess it depends on where from eagle they came from. I heard that if they were TWU at eagle everything (seniority) remains. If non-union at eagle then they keep AMR seniority and start day one with company seniority. (Their O/H base in texas is non-union)It would depend on whether or not they were considered to be employeed with American Airlines or whether it was American Eagle as a different company.

It is very possible that you were correct. However with the bankruptcy, it is my understanding that the TWU is being looked at as a whole unit as well as American Eagle.You heard wrong on both accounts. I use to work as an AMT at Eagle in DFW and they are TWU employees and your seniority does not apply to AA. You have a different company and occupational seniority date if you come from Eagle.
my buddy who just came back to aa from eagle, got his company time but did not get his occupational time. so basically he gets his vacation that he acquired. but occupational is the one that determines if you get laid off or not. also need to be more worry about the parts washers and cleaners who are title 2 that bump up to a&p because they get both.
