Awesome! Free cover with AA I.D.

Best experience is to go there on overtime and clock out at hanger later. - Just kidding, of course I never did that. 😉

I think all the whores over at Headquarters are afraid of the competition!!!   😉 😉 😛 😀

maybe AA can buy the naming rights, like the AA barn for the stars, the AA stadium for the cowboys.
Not only that, but the TWu International can host the next round of non-negotiations at the new nudie bar, nothing like free booze and whores to get those concessionary TWu contracts for 25 years "hammered" out. It's been a hell of an accomplishment so far.

I don't what AA management is complaining about, they won't have to travel far, and they can be one of the first to get a VIP membership along with their TWu Company Union friends.

I believe you have a point there.

Byhaps the Centrepork infestation should move to Washington, DC - nothing but whores and politicians live there (kindred spirits) and the boys would probably be well accepted into the fold by those already there ...

If that's the worst union AA employees will do I'm not only content but pleasantly surprised. It could be worse:

Don't get much worse than this. Well I guess that it's not only those corrupt union guys. High roller keeps the "client" wheels greased I surmise?

Now we know were all that bone-us money goes, not just $5000 shower curtains.

"Just put on my tab, the companies paying for it"

Chrysler says the quality and safety of the vehicles was in no way affected by what the workers were doing on their break.

yet;

After seeing the video, a Chrysler spokesperson said, "Each of them has been suspended indefinitely, without pay, pending further investigation. We'll continue to pursue this in fact, until we're done."

If Chrysler is sure that the "quality and safety" "was in no way affected" then why did they suspend them?
Hmm, a little bit of a double standard, if the office types were to give up their little lunchtime nip half the resturaunts would go out of business.

Well, there's something you don't see every day. Bob Owens, safety professional and union official, implying it's OK for assembly line workers to be under the influence on a plant floor...

I don't think it would be tolerated at HDQ (or any other corporate environment) if someone was discovered to be under the influence.

Worst thing that might happen if someone from HDQ was high or drunk is they might have a few more typos in an email (which the spell checker will no doubt pick up). The most dangerous tools at their disposal are a photocopier or a stapler.

Hack, the guy in the NYC case is a real winner... failed stockbroker who went into financial services, mostly mortgages... He was held for ransom in 1994 for cheating his investors, who were in turn apparently laundering drug money....

Yeah, he must have been a real peach. 46 grand, must have been one hell of a party. Quite simply, I've seen management covered more than once (for a time anyway) when they were under the influence of a substance. So it's not just workers, by far.

Bob wasn't condoning it, just stating it is a double standard, and it is.

I agree Hackman. The company was trying to cover its backside probably because this was a long accepted lunch time. It seems to me that they were very close to work if not on the property. The company would not have had to mention anything about safety or quality if they were not trying to cover their backside. They would have only had to say that this against company policy and are taking the appropriate measures. This reminds me of Hooter gate at AFW.

This thread sure beats the dead dog and cat thread over on the DL forum!

It is laughable to think that any company would tolerate substance use or abuse of any kind at any level of the company. To attempt to argue that corporate types get by with it while frontline workers are held to a standard of snow blown innocence reduces the credibility that you try to have on any other topic.

With a slip of some intoxicated office workers hand in front of a high powered computer program, AA could "cut" lots of expenses or trash revenue in an equally devastating manner to frontline folks.
Arguing that any group of people can "afford" to perform with less than their full faculties is nothing but a feeble attempt to argue for your own clearly waning self-worth,.

Im not sure my company policy is no more than 2 drinks when client is present and our official gift policy is $250 max; it's essentially non-existent since our officers and staff look the way particularly in this time of year. Client can have as much as theyd like; and we have specific gifts depending on how valuable their business is. We wouldn't want to compromise a relationship with a lucrative client by refusing to accept a generous gift.
