The socialist connections of Obama and the Democratic Party have certainly not been featured in the Washington Post columns of Harold Meyerson, who happens not only to be a member but a vice-chair of the DSA. Meyerson, the subject of our 2005 column, "A Socialist at the Washington Post," has praised convicted inside-trader George Soros for manipulating campaign finance laws to benefit the far-left elements of the Democratic Party. Obama's success in the Democratic presidential primaries and caucuses is further evidence of Soros's success. Indeed, Soros has financially contributed to the Obama campaign.

Many educated people believe that New World Order is being implemented. That includes Pat Buchanan. For decades presidents have talked of world peace. The supposed idea behind that is NWO(global communism). Journalists have tracked, documented, and photographed the annual gathering of the Bilderberg. Conspiracy Theories trouble me. They are always based on some facts that are strung together. If you read some of the background on what Union_AMT refers to it is easy to draw certain conclusions.

For these theories to gain traction it often requires a leap of faith. Like the Christians Snakehandlers who practice this type of worship ithat s drawn directly from ONE verse in the Bible that states "And they shale take up with serpents and not be harmed"

Many conspiracy theories are like the snakehandlers in that they focus in on one thing while ignoring others that would seem to refute their position.

I see no world wide conspiracy. What I see is a string of events happening independantly that could make you see a conspiracy where none exists. There is no "Hidden Hand" frankly because Greed prevents it.

The polls show the American people don't even believe there's a difference between the two parties. They've both been working to do away with the middle-class. They've both been working at creating this "terror state", which includes letting the terrorist element come into our country. They use it to justify the "patriot act",an attack on our rights, and an obvious play upon the feelings of Americans.

Dell, and Piney, and Southy, why don't you guys go where you'd be more effective at your spin. An old folks home. People don't buy your divisiveness. It's nothing but shallow smoke and mirrors. I thought i read that the Russia/Germany pack was more a victim of deceit than greed. My understanding was that Hitler had no intention of honoring the agreement when he signed it. They gather in places like Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum, the Bildeberg meetings, G8 summits etc. NAFTA, GATT, FTA, the European Union, the North American Union were all hatched at these meetings. Pat Buchanan says lots of things. He also says that the war with Hitler was unecessary and the Holocaust would not have happened had it not been for that war. Which of course ignores all the things Hitler said about Jews prior to the war.

You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep. Or in Pat's case who's radio shows he appears.
