Pat Buchanan says lots of things. He also says that the war with Hitler was unecessary and the Holocaust would not have happened had it not been for that war. Which of course ignores all the things Hitler said about Jews prior to the war.
You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep. Or in Pat's case who's radio shows he appears.

I met Pat B. in 2000 at a luncheon for his campaign, held at the Doubletree Hotel in Atlanta. I've read his book"A Republic Not An Empire". Within weeks after that luncheon Pat received the endorsement of the Teamsters Union, and appeared with the Teamsters at an anti-NAFTA rally at the U.S. Capital. The next day the accusations of anti-semitism and racism started to be leveled at him in the media,in rereference to his book. I saw nothing in his book, that when taken in the context that Pat intended, was anti-semitic or racist.I feel that Pat was scared by someone, sometime after that, because several weeks after that he suddenly dropped out of the race, and did a 180.
You can say what you want about Pat Buchanan, but I heard him make a compelling speech for why the founders were so fearful of economic entanglement with the rest of the world, and why we can in fact based on available resources,be the centrist/ sovereign nation that we once were.
The world powers are slave makers and war mongers that have woven tightly knit societies of world leaders from all countries, that wage wars for the purpose of division and profit, using religion, racism and any other means. They've got the world dancing on a string, and that has included the U.S. for many years.
I question the motives of those who want to tie us to COMMUNIST China. Who export our jobs, damaging the tax base, then import from other countries without tariffs.
I wonder, does our economy have to collapse, before we recognize that we've imported an enemy ?
