I tbink its more frustration than anger but I agree with NYer something will be put to vote in my opinion without a union recommendations

If it's a put of for a vote, wouldn't be surprised if it isn't endorsed.

Are you going to endorse that?

Yes it's quite obvious and all the things they mentioned are important. The point I was making is the TWU is going to have to do something about the irate membership. I've never seen it like this before. Hopefully some progress will be made and things calm down. Most of the people who are upset have a lot of seniority from what I've seen so it's disappointing to see this.
You're correct Talos, they are there. But I personally can't see/read the whole system.

They are going to endorse something that increases medical costs $6000?

Al are you joking? Your Medical is a “must have” for the Airline. Somewhere out there in a place I’ve never read the Company has said they “must have” that Medical?

Of COURSE he would endorse.

Now back in 2012 it wasn’t a “must have” though.

The part time question certainly puts the fleet contract in the lurch. That language will have to be gone over carefully.
M&R don't have any PT so I suspect that may and I stress may have a better chance of passing, but without seeing all of it there's no way of knowing. Even after seeing all of it, there's no way of predicting which way guys will vote.
The 2010 TA was voted down 3-1, I thought it would pass even though I didn't like it.
The biggest question most of us have is : can we keep our job in place where we are. Most of us are done moving to keep a job.
The next biggest things I'm hearing is : wheres the profit sharing and why isn't the 401 contribution bigger.
Yes, there are still things missing and things lacking from what I read that I'd like to see improved.
The overwhelming sentiment is: show it all to us, let us decide which direction we go, we deserve that.

Isn't endosed, is the quote.

Question still applies? Would you endorse or not endorse that IAM PT language if it were put to a vote. Or would you “abstain” from offering any opinion whatsoever?

The Politically prudent maneuver.

If the information was flowing more than it has over the last couple of years the merits of the TA would have a better chance to supercede everything else.

My fear is that the frustrations being felt and the distrust that's been built may cause people to jump on a possible TA as they make an emotional decision.

It didn't help how the TWU kept pointing out the discrepancy with the holidays, as an example, which has stuck as a disparity between the groups.

People are clamoring to see what's out there and currently they believe they only have one side of the story. If they see the other side we have to hope they consider their decision on its entirety and not emotionally.

All those decision lie with the Association. My opinion is mine and irrelevant to the decision to be made by the Association and the Members.

Oh no no no. Being who you are and holding the position you hold I would like to know what your position is on that issue of the possibility with language like that being inserted ALL of MIA could be made Part Time. It’s not an impossibility.

Your opinions carry much weight among some people and they expect to hear from you rather than you remaining in the shadows hiding again behind a Politically prudent maneuver.

Quite telling.
