so ww3 started up because NYer won't give his opinion on aa shooting for 40% PT out of the total number of clerks?

weaasles - hanging on in quiet desperation is the english thing to do. we will fight them on the beaches, will we fight them in the streets....i like your spirit, but lus insurance will be gone. i'm thinking the company will scale back the 40% PT ratio along with keeping the status quo regarding lavs/water as part of that exchange??

if we get all that settled and we end up over $32/hr without differential on DOS, this thing will pass like a fdr (twu voters) x alf landon (iam voters) landslide 1936 election.

Crema right now I’m the surface from what I know if it was in front of me I’m an adamant and firm NO vote. Can that decision be changed? But not with all the unanswered questions.

And if they don’t modify their position my opinion is I don’t even want my representatives to release it out to us.

Losing jobs or having tons of people downgraded is not the same as saying that there’s not enough money being put in the pot.

I have good news for you AAnotok ... Trump is supporting the NRTWA, and with GOP control of congress, it's all but a done deal. https://www.bna.com/trump-administration-puts-n57982083381/

More than likely, this is the REAL reason the Company is stalling, circumventing, and mocking the Association. If all goes well in the mid-terms, it'll be the law of the land. From that point, they can drag section 6 out until the TWA/IAM both atrophy away!

Time is on the Company's side, all they need to do stall. and protract, all within legal guidelines...

Isn't this hilarious? PLEASE give me another funny Tim...

fair enough. didn't bob post the PT % at various stations? what is the current cap - system/station, if there is one? what is ua's cap? the lavs/water part is the company just piling on, only to peel back at the end of the day and say, "see, we compromised too".

my feeling is that if i'm an iam big-shooter, i'm scheming that iam people will be 'compensated' for the lus insurance loss; such as maybe more per hr. for their iam pension/catering jobs? no shame with that, i'd make sure my iam members know this come election time, but i wouldn't rub the twu faces in it.

Crema under that IAM language they can make an entire HUB PT and still have plenty of room to make PT all over the place. They can actually make a few HUBS PT and still be at a 40% Cap.

Thankfully they did TA some language that prevents some back to back shifts but they can still make some shifts back to back if they total over 9 hours. So they can make shifts that are 5 and 5 or 5 and 6 or even 6 and 6 and not violate the new contract.

Ken? Dude... that's MY name!

Thank's for the funny... I can't wait till you have nothing to complain about... now THAT will be FUNNY!
Well Damn it Ken, there you go, us Ken's have something in common...I can't wait either!

Dang Weez, after viewing this video it does seem like you guys are too far away from an ILC. It appears to be heading to sec 6 as some on here have said. Not sure if that would be in the co. favor or not, but it surely is not in the favor of the membership. You guys go sec 6 then I see another minimum 3 years. A lot can happen in 3 years. The line maint and overhaul outsourcing is way too big of an ask by the company. Just from the merger alone the outsourcing will increase a bunch not to mention the increase the co. is asking for on top of the merger increases alone. And GP is right, you guys have to get station protections, otherwise they can close at will and displace many employees in all groups and even layoffs. Get that 12,500 payment back into the contract, otherwise you guys will see huge layoffs and/or displacements not by choice. Long and hard fight ahead of you guys. Don't allow the co. to sell this around the NC send the co. back to the table to nego with the NC. Our company tried the same thing with us, once they saw no acceptance by the membership they finally went back thru the NC at the table...

You’re 100% right. Going to be at least 3 more years. Maybe even 4.

And just think... we both come from the disco era... we're bros...
Now that's FUNNY!
If you’re missing any 8-tracks from your Columbia House Library, let me know...I even have two “I will survive” Gloria Gaynor tapes.

A page out of the m.o.u. that formed the association. Paragraph D gives iam total veto power

I watched this video and could not agree more. The company is trying to negotiate through Jetnet. My personal feeling is the members want to see the association proposal. The IAM will lose their medical and pension. The IAM receives nothing in the companies proposal. They already get 10 holidays. The increase of 10,000.00 dollars to our annual pay will be wiped out by the Medical, leaving the mechanics about 4000.00. I for one want to continue negotiate for a much better contract.
