Threats. Nice.

There's a clue why you can't even get access to your Local's FB page.

Well I guess I’ll just contact the DOL and see what they have to say about that?

I pay my dues.

I think the only place my Local President went on leave the last 2 years was down to Denny’s to eat lots of those Big Breakfasts.

Unless of course he counts his Facebook time as OT?

Vote for what? The Corporate BK revisions or the bill itself? Outside of the loophole pratice, the PBGC was to protect pensions. It wasn't until the Lobbyist and GOP practitioners pressed for relaxed BK regulations, that it was exploited!

The vote for Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) was overwhelmingly voted in by Democrats and Republicans. I'm not sure what relaxed BK regulations you're talking about or quoting but the bipartisan congress voted for the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978 also.

What I'm saying is IMO you can't blame one party or their lobbies for legislation sent to the POTUS by both parties.

I will also add that it was a Democrat who introduced the Airline Deregulation Act and it passed with overwhelming support from both parties. Before this act the airlines were required to maintain their own aircraft, it has been going downhill since then..
