Ironic that I’m actually the one that finds the 3% to continue to be subpar. Especially with the items so far they’re still asking for.

But the only way I guess to make the cash look good is to say you’re not going to include the Sports Package with the sale of the vehicle and then relent to the package for the same price.

absolutely, i don't argue any of that.

i didn't know that...but, i believe this bodes well for those who want a further sweetener and want to vote on a ta.

why would aa waste resources for something that won't come to a vote? they must be prepping that there will be a vote...if so, chances are their last public proposal will be enhanced - except the lus insurance.

I’m going to say this over and over until this can get through to my fellow TWU Brothers and Sisters. The Company is not offering the IAM side enough to discontinue that Medical.

Crema they have tried before multiple times to snatch that Medical from their hands and it’s failed over and over and over.

If NYer is right and he very well could have the connection in the Company through Jim Weel to know the Company improvements in advance I think he should get on the phone tomorrow morning and tell Jim and Jerry they need to sweeten even more.

I still come back to those numbers we’ve bandied back and forth so many times about on here.

I wish the Association would put out publicly the financials they asked for because to me they’re closer to being reasonable then where the Company’s number crunchers put it.

3% above is subpar.

wow, if it's the same jim wheel that gave me a jet bridge key in 1988.

what would be enough for them? does it have to be exclusively for iam agents? pension upgrade and/or scope (catering)??

you know that laa joe lunchbox is grumbling.

i've only asked for that info 3-4 times.

we need gulfcoast to ask prez and/or charlie brown and we'll get the numbers.

Question here Ive heard that employees are being given 3 stars before they get written up and the employee may not even know it Is this even legal under the current contract I have heard its happening in BWI and given that the current station mgr is there it does not surprise me but geeze it just goes too far I believe Does this type of thing occur in any other city or hub

Yes NYer has developed a very good relationship with Jim over the years. Most Union officials have pretty kind words for Jim so I don’t see anything wrong with it. Just would be kind of weird if he were clueing him in on official information but NYer did used to have a strong Social Media profile where he used to be trusted so.

I’ll tell you honestly IF IF IF they were open to any exchange I don’t know what their price would be and I would never have the audacity to insult them with asking.

I would feel just as insulted if they asked me say what was my price to dump my Pension on the PBGC or some other financials question.

Because if you put out those Economic asks publicly and they fail to achieve that ask it would be looked on as a failure and could also honestly taint the vote.

There are just far too many numbskulls, dweebs, twits and goofballs (Putzs are ok) who would hold their feet to the fire that they couldn’t come through.

Suffice it to say that 3% wasn’t the given ask though.

It will.

the numbers i ask for are numbers from the aa side, what they pay now and what they have twice proposed. total compensation. aa claims their 2nd proposal equates to $76,234 per TOS fsc yearly - not counting PS and insurance electives?

not what the assoc. is asking for.

I don't have any connections. There are people who post here and do though. I will say I would like to at least vote on something before having to enter into Section 6. I do agree with NYer that we will be better off if we at least have a vote. I am still more no than yes. Although I am less no that I was before with the first company public proposal.

As a TWU member my main concern is Scope and the PT ratio. I would pretty much be ok with the higher of UA or DL plus 3% and with the return of a meaningful shift diff. I still think that is the least AA can do wagewise unless they sweeten the PS. If PS stays the same, I think we should at least get 5% right? The DL plus 7 was before we got any PS I think? Now we get a small profit sharing so maybe split the baby?

do you believe that aa will back off the lavs/water?

Sure, like they have with the deicing.

Also, wouldn't be surprised if they add DFW to the other stations they proposed.

It seems some of the proposed cuts is really an attempt not to expand those positions to the stations or contract that don't current have them.
