AMFA files for single carrier status for Alaska/Hawaiian merger

Dude I honestly don’t give a **** who represents these people in these Airlines. I just wanted to **** with YOU. I think you have mental issues honestly. You’re obsessed about things. You’ve been obsessed for many years here. And I find it hilarious by calling you Swamp instead of swamt you changed your handle.

There’s no one here anymore swamp, no one. I post here in between working and reading News items because I’m not interested in watching fucking Marvel movies that play all over the place now.

Do you have any other hobbies besides sucking AMFA cock and swallowing all the time? Seriously?

And my name is “The Weez” not Skippy or weezyboy 😂 Aaaaayyyyyyy 👍
YES you do give a **** as you are so deeply trying to fight off AMFA from getting into yet another major airline to represent the Mechanics Class and Craft.
Only AMFA hobby I have is correcting false, lies, misinformation and straigh t up made up BS about AMFA when they are fixing to have a representational vote.
Wrong again, at least you stay constantly consistent when you are always wrong. Had to change due to someone hacked in and took control of my postings. That's been fixed for years now though. Had absolutely NOTHING to do with what you do Skippy.
Nothing has changed there weezyboy, you still got NOTHING!!!

I got sunshine in my stomach
Like I just rocked my baby to sleep
I got sunshine in my stomach
But I can't keep me from creeping sleep
Sleep, deep in the deep
Rockface moves to press my skin
White liquid turn sour within
Turn fast, turn sour
Turn sweat, turn sour
Must tell myself that I'm not here
I'm drowning in a liquid fear
Bottled in a strong compression
My distortion shows obsession
In the cave
Get me out of this cave
If I keep my self-control
I'll be safe in my soul
And the childhood belief
Brings a moment's relief
But my cynic soon returns
And the lifeboat burns
My spirit just never learns
Stalactites, stalagmites
Shut me in, lock me tight
Lips are dry, throat is dry
Feel like burning, stomach churning
I'm dressed up in a white costume
Padding out leftover room
Body stretching, feel the wrenching
In the cage
Get me out of the cage
In the glare of a light
I see a strange kind of sight
Of cages joined to form a star
Each person can't go very far
All tied to their things
They're netted by their strings
Free to flutter in memories of their wasted wings
Outside the cage I see my Brother John
He turns his head so slowly round
I cry out "Help!"
Before he can be gone
And he looks at me without a sound
And I shout out "John please help me!"
But he does not even want to try to speak
I'm helpless in my violent rage
And a silent tear of blood dribbles down his cheek
And I watch him turn away and leave the cage
My little runaway
In a trap, feel a strap
Holding still
Pinned for kill
Chances narrow that I'll make it
In the cushioned straight-jacket
Just like 22nd Street
They got me by my neck and feet
Pressures building, can't take more
My headaches charge, ear aches roar
In this pain
Get me out of this pain
If I could change to liquid
I could fill the cracks up in the rocks
I know that I am solid
And I am my own bad luck
Outside John disappears, and my cage dissolves
Without any reason my body revolves
Keep on turning
Keep on turning
Keep on turning
Keep on turning
Keep on turning
Turning around
Just spinning around

The Process to Determine Union Representation: Where We Are Now

The following is the process to determine union representation for employees in the same craft or class under the Railway Labor Act (RLA) when two airlines merge. The process is overseen by the National Mediation Board (NMB), which ensures a single bargaining representative for the combined workforce post-merger. Unions themselves don’t merge like companies; instead, employees vote on representation, and the winning union (if any) integrates the groups. Right: is a step-by-step breakdown, including key NMB decisions.

AMFA Values you

With the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), you’re not just a dues-paying Member—you’re the driving force behind every decision, negotiation and policy. AMFA is built on the foundation of inclusion, availability, and accountability—with real democratic power in the hands of the membership who keep aircraft flying: YOU.

This is why Members say that AMFA Delivers.

Your Union, Your Voice

At AMFA, members shape the future. Every Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), every Letter of Agreement, and every change to local bylaws or our national constitution begins with Member proposals – and ends only when Members vote.

We don’t negotiate behind closed doors. We invite Members to attend negotiations at several airlines because transparency and trust are core to how we operate.

Real representation by real technicians.

Every Union rep—from your Local to the National Executive Council—is elected directly by the Members and comes from your craft or class. They’ve worked the same line, turned the same wrenches, and face the same challenges you do. You don’t just join AMFA—your decisions help lead it.

Availability: We’re On the Floor With You

Union reps that work where you work.

AMFA Local representatives are elected every two years from the same ranks you work in. They’re not distant names—they’re professionals on the floor, available, accessible and responsive. Need support? You won’t have to go looking for someone in a suit behind a closed office door. You’ll see your reps often, hear from them regularly, and get answers when you need them. This is representation that shows up—on the line and in the fight.

Might be some BS going over at Alaska/Hawaiian merger representational vote. Are antics being stirred up, once again, trying to keep AMFA out of the Mechanics Class and Craft? All members should have had their ballots by Jan 1st IMO. I know the USPS is slow, but they had plenty of time even with the holidays. I honestly hope there is no interference, and if there is, I hope AMFA gets on top of it ASAP.

How to Request a Duplicate Ballot from the National Mediation Board (NMB)
[td]
Jan 05, 2026
January 5, 2025
The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) has received multiple inquiries from Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines employees who have not yet received their ballot for the upcoming Representation Election, which will be tallied on February 12, 2026.
Because this is a mail-in paper ballot election, it is critical that any employee who has not received their ballot requests a duplicate ballot from the National Mediation Board (NMB) as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for mailing and return before the tally deadline.

Requesting a Duplicate Ballot

The NMB has provided specific instructions for requesting a replacement ballot. Those instructions are outlined below:
NMB_Screenshot.jpg
To help employees complete this process accurately, efficiently, and in a neutral manner, AMFA is sharing the attached Duplicate Ballot Request template that may be used when submitting your request to the NMB.
Important: Duplicate ballot requests must be wet-signed by the employee. Electronic or typed signatures will not be accepted and may result in the request being rejected by the NMB.

Your Voice Matters

This may be the most important vote of your career, and we want to help ensure that every eligible employee has the opportunity to participate.

I personally think AMFA should talk about the great SCOPE language they’ve earned for all the groups they represent. I mean I think at SWA they negotiated a Contract extension that gives them 3.1 Mechanics 🧰 per Aircraft.

I mean sure at SWA AMFA has great wages. Ok not as great as AA but pretty darn close but what about all that work they have in house?

I would think anyone who might read this would want to know how much work AMFA can guarantee for them?

I mean they wouldn’t ignore a question like that would they?

DEAD wrong again my little biatch!!! AMFA does have guaranteed language. And AGAIN AMFA's wages at SWA's contract will be topping AA's contract @ CAD easily. This is where you are WRONG again about the mechanics groups at both airlines. Nice try to reach there skippy, not gonna work.
Read the AMFA contracts you freakin moron and you would know this, just like all the mechanics know in OUR industry not yours weezyboy. You are just a wanna be Aircraft Mechanic but could never get there with your inept mechanical abilities and it shows big time.
2 more days until I prove wrong yet again there MLB (My Little Biatch)

Wow 😮 are you an angry little girl. 👧 I hope I’m not disturbing you.

So tell me about that language then? Oh I know your usual response. You’re not going to do my work for me. Do you say the same thing to people you’re trying to represent as well? Yes you do, 😂

You already know. The language speaks for itself. Ever since AMFA took over from the failing teamsters, AMFA has improved all work language better protecting the members from the teamsters wide open unrestricted outsourcing language. And AMFA has also nego Industry Leading contracts at each and every new carrier they are brought into for representation and are still doing it. And we all know AMFA/SWA Mechanics are the highest compensated in the airlines and it was AMFA that was able to attain this level of nego's to obtain it.
Now, for the men and women of Alaska/Hawaiian Mechanics Class and Craft, we are coming up on the 24 hour countdown starting at 2pm today. I wish all of you the best of luck in your representational voting for a single union representative. Do not fall for ANY of the IAM and others rhetoric and propaganda about AMFA. Notice ALL their propaganda is all IAM members on videos just spreading false and misinformation, they are determined to keep you all confused by spreading these lies and made up BS about AMFA. Below I leave you all with just some of the accomplishments AMFA has done and continues to do going forward for their Mechanics Class and Craft Groups. Get it in writing with AMFA, NOT just hear say and words by video which means NOTHING...
