I know Gordo has delayed remaining 737 deliveries and 757s are in doubt, but I was wondering if CO was looking at the 70-90 seaters. I seem to be flying on a lot of packed RJs. Plus the schedule cutbacks (especially at Cleveland) make it difficult to reach a lot of business markets (even NYC) in time for a 9am or even a 10am meeting. An earlier first flight might not fill a 737 but it may fill a 70 seater. I remember Gordo saying somewhere that once a route supports the 145s that its not much of a jump to a 737-500, but that doesn't "feel" right.
Does CO have scope clauses issues to also deal with on this issue?
