I expected our support to have posted by now. But, I will give you a short update. The Tempe police have been alerted. They are always good and understanding. Please. We are peacefull demonstrators. And remember, Tempe is a real progressive Hub! for alot of controversy. This ain't Philly, or Haite Ausbury! This is the new area of public consternation. Pay attention! We will make a difference.
IAM was here in full force. We are not the bottom of U.S. Airways. We are actually up there with pilots. They fly, we load the revenue. Cargo and mail and passengers are the actual formula.
We have the AFL-CIO all over this picket. It is up to the rest of our union members and groups to support the start to the resolution of this merger. Employees will be the resolutors to the success of U.S. Airways. Believe me when I say they will listen.

Looks like a pretty good deal for you AM shift folks considering you're the only people that give a #### about union negotiations. Enjoy your drinks while we're doing your job.

From what I've seen the flyers have been pretty well accepted during the PM shift...only problem is we'll all be working and calling out sick is less than a reasonable option.

The reason this Rally has been selected at this time was to target the highest traffic on all levels. Since airline work is round the clock, it had to be at rush hour off the 202 and the media only comes by once so we contained in in the shortest time frame. Please believe we would've loved to include more time for evening personnel. We tried it last month Mar.23 and only 2 to 10 people showed before 1 pm.
On another note, Dawn Gilbertson from the Az. Republic responded and hopes to be there. Also our IAM Reps Rich Johnson, Bill Chandlee and Ron Roth will be there for media statements. I only added the piece on Macayo' because these are going to be very hungry and tired people who will be walking for those who can't!

First of all let me start off by saying that i actually do hope the tempe police will be out there , their very visable to the public and i must commend them on their manners and professionalism , They are a pleasure to be around .

2nd i'm glad to hear the PM people have recived the flyers well ,They should also understand that we are well aware that they cannont attend the protest because their working , we aren't looking for a sick out or walk out .

It's hard to say how things will proceed , but if we have even 20 more people than we had before i'll consider it a sucess .

It's time to start building a winning airline .
