The easties are owed a big debt of gratitude- they voted in a contract and gave the west RIPEness. That you, every single lying cheating one of you. Thank you!!!

Um...obviously you have not heard....the APA gave away 330 pay in the MOU, for the east pilots 330 pays LOA93 wages.

I really don't know and have to ask...which pays more the 757 MOU pay retro, or the LOA93 330?

Call your usapa rep....and ask.

They forgot to mention the smack down the APA gave them a couple months back, kinda like they are withdrawing their dismissed complaint, or winning that RICO suit, uscaba is either totally clueless or just pretending to be.

BTW...."PAIN of an unquestionably ripe DFR"...and "on dangerous ground"...are warnings, not a green light to scab your co-workers job. Just thought I would mention it because uscaba has failed to mention those phrases also.
I have one simple question. How did we scab our co-workers job?

I'm just curious. If this situation is ripe, and If somehow you do manage to get a temporary injunction on May 14th and then at some point in the future If you're able to get a permanent injunction for USAPA to use the Nicolau award, and then If you somehow win on appeal to the 9th circuit and then you finally get APA to negotiate a combined list using the Nicolau award, what changes? When will you be able to bid CLT? The company has no plans to combine East and West....none. They will combine all of us (AA and US) at the same time. Maybe 4th quarter of 2015 if we are lucky? The East has 500+ mandatory retirements between now and then with 99% of them being Captains or Widebody F/O's. No bump, no flush...remember? And being melded into AA, the pool will get even deeper. I don't think any East pilot is afraid of the threat of Nicolau anymore....even If you win.

The west is owed a lot, thanks for recognizing this- but like the mighty Allied forces following WW2, there will be no war reparations to be had. What we will have is justice and every west pilot will be a group2 captain in 2015. As the attrition continues well into the 2020's it will be the younger, more balanced west pilots taking the big bus captain awards. This is only fair, as the 1999 former furloughed US pilots are hundreds of numbers below Dave O'Dell.
We are merging with a great airline, the waste of US Air will finally be just a foot note in aviation history.
Enjoy the fine weekend, in a little over two weeks we can all have a nice reunion in Phoenix District Court. Ripe

Again.....You have a lot of big "IF's" to hurdle over before any of this happens. I've heard some West pilots say, "Justice delayed, is justice denied". Do you think that's true?

With the amount of widebodies on order and the amount of Westies who apparently love PHX, I just don't think many of us are worried anymore. But if I were you, i'd make sure to donate your $10,000 bonus check and the backpay you will get to Leonidas just to make sure. BTW, the younger West pilots you're talking about will be spread out over a much, much bigger system. Much less effect on any former East pilots. As far as being "owed" anything, I think you'll get exactly what you deserve. A large attorney bill and not a lot to show for it.

Thank you for the unsolicited advice, I will file it in the same file with usAPA's threat of a DOH seniority lust. Fact is, the "ifs" you are banking on are no longer existent- the ONLY one remaining is the completion of the American merge. I'm not at all worried with this last "if", RIPEness is with us at POR. From there, a combined east: west pilot group. PHX will become just another domicile that you will have the opportunity to bid into with your Nic seniority. And that's how it's going to end my friend.

usAPA is doing exactly what they excel at: lying. Nothing has changed since April 2008, why do you hope they will do anything different now?

Just because you don't like what USAPA states doesn't mean that they are lying. It's all in the perspective. When you only listen to the things you want to hear, you are setting yourself for a fall.

That is actually true.

Can't wait to see you explain to the APA every single one of you gets a Captain job at the New American.
Won't have to. The Judicial system will do that for us fairly soon. As far as the Nic is concerned, USCABA and the APA will get a nice hot bowl of STFU.

19 Captain Retirements / 2 First Officer

glad you set clear straight that all the retirements are from the right seat...
the crux of this argument has always been about why a 17 year guy with 10 years of longevity should have to wait for a new hire to upgrade before him. ... The west arguments sucks and makes no sense on this issue.
