What's new

are the ex ata 757's on the property yet?

It's in our contract that the crew get Crew Rest Seats on ALL Transoceanic Flts! Got a Problem With That? What's up with you people anyway? Always SOO Negative All the time!!

My pun was aimed at the fact that they feel the 757 seats are comfy enough for crews to rest in, let alone passengers. I've never been able to sleep on board a US757... no idea why...

Didn't get a look at reg number but saw 1 of the ATA birds in PIT tonight

They are actually Air Horizon, when ATA parked them they went to Air Horizon.

Question, hopefully not a stupid one. The latest world airline report shows US as having 34 757's in their fleet and 3 in storage. Why not unpickle the 3 in storage and put them back in service? If they were not etops cert, I take it it must be more cost effective to go outside and buy from someone else.

Thanx

Not a stupid question at all . I believe the 3 are referring to 615/616 & 618 which have all been picked up. The 615 / 616 are flying for First Choice and 618 is flying for Ryan International.
