The deal was that the union either ALPA or usapa get a contract. The fact that usapa failed at that basic duty seems to escape you. The arbitration was completed.

But for the TA there is no reality for the arbitration, and even with the TA the arbitration is still only effectual to the extent of the terms of the TA.

Cheers

They look nice.

I have a pair of Sennheisers for the cokpit (hired into the noisy 737-200/300) and still have a pair of the old bulky Bose for non-reving. Unfortunately my youngest stepped on the Bose pair and now one side of the band is wrapped in black electrical tape. I know, real classy. Could be worse, I could have used silver duct tape ala Red Green 🙂

Bean
Hi Bean..... I am enjoying these very much....I have used them about 3 times since bought them in the last week, once on a 3 hr flight, and twice during work outs. It seems that the more I wear them, the better the fit (or maybe I'm just learning to use them better). The noise cancelling device is rechargeable, I think it holds a 6 hr charge. They have a shirt clip, then just above that is a "control box". It allows you to control the volume of your device from that point, skip ahead or backwards in song selections, and, if you're using an iPhone, it has a microphone in it. Also, you can't beat the purchase plan. $25/month, interest free with no delays for a credit check or any of that kind of BS. Quick purchase time. Might even look a little better than your speed tape set. 🙂 breeze http://www.bose.com/...p&Variant=qc20i

...

But to your point. Are you OK with the American pilots being the majority deciding what the seniority list should be with a fair and neutral process just because they are the majority?

Majority? And how do expect it to be any different? You Westies have been crowing, hooting, and hollerin' for the day that APA would become the majority.

So yes, I'll hoot and holler with you about their majority. The minority always has a right to sue after the fact if the union doesn't conclude their business within a wide range of reasonableness.

Cheers

I did. Live up to yours, you are trying to weasel out. Answer the question.
I answered your question. The "plan " is to force you to live up to your agreement and protect our rights.

Too bad if you don't like that answer.

Ok ya got me.. I don't know. But how many times was it the majority that did so?
Was there a fair and neutral process that allowed the majority to have their say or did the majority simply dictate what they wanted?

You see it all comes back to the process. ALPA merger policy or M/B. There is a neutral process. You easties want to dictate the result without a neutral process.

And the fact you leave out is that a group of west AF/Os filed an unripe lawsuit before we had a contract completed that has led to our legal quagmire. You are correct that the arbitration was completed, but the TA wasn't and it turned out that was what mattered. So much so that we all agreed to abandon the TA in the MOU.

Integrity demands that you answer my simple question. We all know the answer, I just want to see if you have the backbone to admit it. What's wrong? Afraid of being put on the stand?

Correction......the battery holds a 16hr charge.

Threshold matter. The east pilots ran away from your agreement to use the result of arbitration. That is what has lead to the legal quagmire. At least accept your responsibility in this.

If you easties had lived up to your agreement we would have gotten a contract and moved on. The MOU may replace the T/A but the unions duty does not change. They still have to represent ALL pilots fairly. Demanding a seniority integration that favors one side over they other does not follow that duty.

The MOU does not negate arbitration between east and west.

NO.....you didn't answer. Spinning away again, trying to avoid the truth.

Ok answer this question. Did usapa intentionally mislead the pilots that the MOU was seniority neutral. Then try and use the vote to tell the court that the west had given up on the Nicolau?

No quagmire, No JCBA on list, The Mou replaces a T/A, you might as well had an arbitration on crew meals, or payrates regardless "NEVER DUAL RATIFIED" again of course modification at consent of the parties, the life boat is approaching "GILLIGANIOUS ISLAND" My congrats to all the new capts on the NOV bid CIAO!
