Team Tempe will never pay a decent wage. Never have never will! This merger was the only reason money was on the table. No merger-no money.

Hate

Sorry Hate, but you are absolutely wrong. The "Kirby Proposal" has been on the table since USAPA took control. We could have had the AWA contract (rules, basically) that would have immediately given the East a HUGE amount of vacation increase. Further, the NB crew (captains referenced here) could have had (according to court testimony up to an 11% increase) an increase of $33 an hour as early as late 2007.

With no second post-merger contract (DAL did it early, why couldn't we?), here's the math:

85 hours x $33 = $2805
$2805 x 12 months = $33,660
$33,660 x 6 YEARS = $201,960

Of course this would be predicated on the East pilots accepting the final and binding arbitration process and moving on.

You have WB captains that will retire this year that will have lost over double that. Never to be recovered. All for the DOH paper chase.

Agreed! Furthermore, no money (I'm talking industry standard, hell, even Spirit pays AB pilots 170/hr) no NIC! The company has ZERO incentive to offer up the cash required to end this "food fight" sans the merger.

Did DUI take the Kirby proposal away? The West still wants to know.

Sorry BUB you are absolutely wrong, all those upgrades and Capt positions would be taken by WEST pilots advantaged by your ALPA gift. The EAST pilots attrition would have only left them stagnate with no wage advantage, Thus most of the benefit goes by a large percentage to the WEST who were hired years after those disadvantaged! Enjoy your vacation, see ya in the 9th!

Worthless computations, no more meaning than what my wages would have been in the previously aborted DL and UAL mergers. The Kirby proposal GUTTED section 1. No go then, no go now. I continue to see a lot of reminiscing here about early USAPA and what could have been. Too bad, move on. Due to the DOJ and our ongoing litigation, there are zero raises within grasp of East or West. RR

Yeah, and having been on this forum for as long as you have, how do you think it's playing out so far? You hit the key word....HATRED. The West pilots hate management and East pilots.

They blame the guys in the pictures for USAPA. But the box that carried the CARDS carried EACH INDIVIDUAL SIGNATURE of the majority of the pilots and THE MAJORITY OF THE PILOTS voted for USAPA. They WANT to blame the guys in the picture but in reality they REALLY HATE AND BLAME THE EAST PILOTS for voting in a DEMOCRACY.

Yeah. The truth hurts. Is it worth losing ALL THAT MONEY? You should have thought about that when we were ALPA. That ship has LONG LEFT THE DOCK.

Oh, and don't forget to give MORE to www.thepushforjustice.com.

You'll find that picture popping up in places and you won't be able to do anything about it, Jaime. If you(s) were proud of it then it would have remained. The lights came on and the scurrying for the nearest hole ensued.

How long has your side said we are running out of money? Funny, you still end up in court. I want to see you lose more than I want to win. That's because you imposed your own version of democracy worthy of the old Soviet Union which crumbled under it's own failed policies.

Merger or none. You're out the door.

No matter how long it takes.

Count on it.

And no min fleet, no raise to the E190 and Kirby denied the extra 10%. CB really needs to actually read what Stephen testified to-"possible."

They can pick up right where your dad left off!

Considering your basic lack of intelligence and common sense I doubt you can wipe your ass by yourself.

Did you stop your A330 studies? When do you predict it now? I want to make a note of it so I can show you were wrong. Again.

I wish we had a really smart, really charismatic person out there that could come up with a solution that doesn't have us all losing, but they haven't shown up yet. More of the same.

They/he/she will never show up because each pilot involved has his/her own view of what "losing" looks like.

If the AA merger does not go through, the east and west will work under their respective contracts for at least 5 more years. Probably 10...assuming LCC survives that long.
