Our first peek at what is going on in the depositions? Guess there is some concern as to the money trail? And you have to love the description of the USAPA lawyer as being on a fishing expedition! USAPA is NOT the plaintiff here! And yet another "don't know nuthin’ about no grievance." Yet another denying knowledge of the biggest gaff in LEO history. LEO is in such disarray that they have their supposedly smartest guys off the reservation and stepping in it big time! So bad Cactus Boy says he does not even care. He is too busy laying out his outfit for the trial, wants to look his best in front of the Company! RR

What concerns (about a money trail)?
1 ALPA (our CBA) helped us go through ALPA merger policy.
2. Larger is 2 groups cries, calls out CIRP.
3. Larger group forces a representational election in the clear attempt to evade a final and binding seniority arbitration.
4. Smaller of two groups pays a law firm to protect our seniority rights from the larger bully.
5. Smaller group also forced to pay dues to new "union" (title used very loosely).
6. Smaller group fairing well against a DOH cram down; legal funds well spent.
7. Larger group legally not fairing as well.
8. Both groups have lost over nearly $800,000.00, to the company's gain.

We need a smiley grasping at a bale of hay for my buddy RR.

Isn't that the same thing you said during the Wake One Arrival into SFO? Wake was spanked. Silver has a chance to dismiss before she gets Waked.

Hate

Silver should have stepped down completely  Her only hope now is for the DOJ to come out blowing a gazzoo, shaking a bell, and tossing pom poms in the air to announce the merger is a go.

You mean the motion to quash the deposition was just an irrelevant billing exercise/scheme by Marty?

Judge Silver probably wishes she never took this field trip with Siegle and Harper. The army needs to put out an update. Final product JCBA-- I don't think so.

Hate

Rather than an update they should be filing with the 9th to protect their premature adjudication field trip.

The Ninth might actually be able to do Silver a favor. She is in deep and current events continue to make her actions slam dunk winable on appeal if she goes all the way with this. Who knows, law clerks do have conversations. RR

I am sure this one blindsided Bob and Marty. Roselyn is probably so pissed off right now because she let these guys run her courtroom. I can see it right now Wake is dialing his water boarding buddy in the 9th Bybee for guidance. Koontz and Fergie where is that update?

Your buddies at ALPA never helped you or us. They could have easily put us both into custodianship and signed our new contract with the NIC. They did not, thus we never made it “through” ALPA merger policy.
Larger groups ALWAYS win representational elections. Duh.
Smaller groups ALWAYS have to pay dues in a closed shop. See Arbitrator Whit’s Federal final and binding order.
I cannot “lose” something I never had. Lost pay and missed opportunities are part of life.
The Company is not the only one to “gain” since the NIC. I have “gained” by keeping it off the property and enjoying my low paid attrition.
Again, another West Class F/O telling me how bad my pay is! Like I said earlier, the new West mantra is no DOH and the East is underpaid. The NIC is finally being given up.

After a long absence from the public eye, and amid many unsubstantiated rumors of his location, at long last..

ClearDirect made an unexpected appearance on TV this morning.... it was unclear if he was referring to the Sec 22 grievance or the shift in opinion regarding the SLI. He took no followup questions and has once again disappeared into obscurity.

Read the writ. Interesting, what a lot of people have been scratching their heads over for a while now. We'll see.

I wonder how much this latest suit has cost us.

Marty is planning a meet and greet next week in PHX and I expect to here how much my diamond gold platinum monthly donations are costing USAPA at the 9th!
