In 1985 I was flying a corporate CE550 And occasionally crewed a Saberliner.

I do not think you understand the West position. We are not moving on with anything involving usapa.

When you quit talking down to me, and realize your effed up entitlement attitude is nothing more than a rationalization of why it is okay for you to steal somebody elses job, then we still ain't moving on, because frankly, you jack wagons are so full of yourselves nobody wants anything to do with you.

This is an improvement. The word scab was abandoned and replaced with "stealer" (a compliment to any rust head) and also with "jack wagon" (which is ironically one word, not two, thank you very much). 🙂

When I was ten my uncle let me occasionaly sit at the controls of his business jet. Can I claim credit for being a corporate crew puppy?

Well....perhaps, but...hmm...You might run the risk of becoming an honorary "spartan" by doing so. 🙂

mitch vasolino (former alpa 2003 hire phx f/o rep) asked doug parker about that in a phx crew meeting, parker rolled his eyes when he heard that. parker also rolled his eyes in the phx meeting when former alpa awa mec leader, johny mac, accused East pilots of slowing down airline operations, during a phx pilot meeting.

Where is that pension investigation the we were promised by the preacher pilot?? Sins of the company!!!! All the wrong doings!! :angry2:

Ah, didn't your brain trust think they could do better??? Didn't the evil ALPA recommend you freeze the pension?? Or was it we know better than everyone else??? At least a few got theirs!! 😱

Hmmm. 370 words vs. 270 pages... I guess Scamanski is getting paid by the letter now as well. Hopefully he doesn't rob the East of another 2 million dollars like their first scumbag lawyer did.

Real parties in interest Don Addington, John Bostic, Mark Burman, AfshinIranpour, Roger Velez, Steve Wargocki, Michael J. Soha; Rodney Albert Brackin;and George Maliga, oppose the motion for stay of district court proceedings filed byUS Airline Pilots Association (“USAPA”).

Quite simply, USAPA is making a vain effort to impede the efforts ofPlaintiffs Addington, et al. from obtaining a judicial ruling that USAPA is illegallyevading its duty to implement a five-year old arbitrated seniority list that all hadagreed would be final and binding. USAPA knows it has no legitimate reason forits actions. Rather, it is acting solely to satisfy the demands of an oppressivemajority.

In this latest effort to delay justice, USAPA moved for an “emergency” orderto stay the District Court proceedings. USAPA did so on the eve of when itsofficers will have to explain their actions at deposition. If USAPA was sincere inits desire to conserve costs, it would not have delayed its motion, as it did, untilafter it subjected the class representatives to fifteen depositions that had little to nobearing on the merits of the claims. The timing of USAPA’s motion, therefore, istelling.

This rant ranks right up there with the Doyal Polygraph Rant.
The west pilots are madder than hornets.
Nic4 is as mad as a hatter.

Nic, I was one of the UAL 570 back in early 1985. You were probably in middle school. UAL trained me, and over 500 F/Es and F/Os, and called us all to work on the eve of a strike by the UAL pilots. All but a few scabs got on the ALPA bus instead of the UAL bus. For all intents we gave up an airline job to do the right thing. In my case, ALPA offered me strike pay to be voluntarily offset by other income. I had no problem getting an AF reserve paycheck, and tore up the checks. Does that make me a "scab?" No. Does that especially make you an a..hole for calling me a scab? Without a doubt. ALPA later took all the scabs and over 450 good guys hired after me and reordered the seniority list, after ratification, to return us to our rightful “seniority.” The scabs sued, won in Federal Court, won in Appeals Court, and LOST at SCOTUS. You cannot and will not (to quote my old friend Walmart) put a 17 year pilot below a new hire. The sooner you understand that, the sooner we move forward. Your airline was founded on scabs, and that by no means makes YOU a scab. But be careful with that word. Despite misuse here, it is defined very carefully, and you using it otherwise makes you the lessor man. RR
Well put, can't wait to hear what Traitor will have to say about this. These little westies are dead in the water, most realize it.

The pension like the Nic is gone. The futile good fight of each will go on and everyone will feel like they did the right thing. Its a therapeutic step toward acceptance and all that.

Maybe so, but your bankruptcy 2 was a calculated re-visit to take all pensions to match America West, which had none, not even a dc plan.
The Seabury Group documents support that firmly.

The America West pilots worked willingly as the lowest paid in the industry.
Their two prior bankruptcies, which they will never admit, allowed their management to lower the rest of the industry.

The Seabury Group documents support that firmly. You can thank the America West pilots for working willingly for decades as the lowest paid.

Calculated no doubt, just like the calculated confiscation of UAL from its employee owners. I saw a history channel type special featuring those lawyers and thieves (is that an example of tautology  ) and they all crowed about how they planned and executed that via bankruptcy and a team of psychologists to keep the employee owners from destroying the furniture and walls as they were "evicted" from their own business.

Perhaps the history channel will do the same about the airline pensions, sorry no one from AWA will be interviewed (accept their management).

I did not realize Microsoft flight simulator had the mighty citation II and sabre in its software in "85" ! You must have been disappointed that you found out you don't get a type rating with the software bundle!

When you quit talking down to me, ....

Kindly help us out with that then. Make doing so less of a proper necessity. 😉 "In 1985 I was flying a corporate CE550 And occasionally crewed a Saberliner." Seriously; how many Ooohs! Ahh's! and Wow's! did you require or even expect in response?

No matter, and no need for you fret over any personal slights anyway, since it's your stated case that: "you jack wagons are so full of yourselves nobody wants anything to do with you." 🙂

So ALPA forced United to abide by original seniority order, what's your point?

ALPA had a LUP, USAPA does not.

How many of the last 6 pilot seniority integrations went LOS?

None, and when given consideration category and status was determined to be twice as important.

The United A scale pilots sold you out, RR.

United called me 4 times during the strike and I never returned a single call, does that make me a better union pilot than you?

Were not "The United A scale pilots" embraced within the "guidance", "wisdom" and warm bosom of mighty alpo? Now then; shall we further examine your fantasy that "ALPA had a LUP"? 😉 Exactly where was alpo's "Legitimate", and only laughably "union" purpose to EVER be seen as the pensions and contracts of the nation's airline pilots were being systematically obliterated? For that matter; exactly what IS alpo's, only supposed, and seemingly existent only within your mind, and that of a few fat cats in herndon's "legitimate", umm..."union"s LOL, actual "purpose"? 🙂 We're all waiting. This oughta' be good for uncontested First Prize for the Joke of the Day. 😉

United had control of ALPA, so I guess that is a LUP, they change merger policy, a LUP, the last pilot seniority integrations, "ALL DIFFERENT" A LUP? Yes, United called you 4 times during the strike BS,! You would have gone, it is who you are! BS!

Well...One has to wonder (at least a bit) about supposedly being called "4 times"...?

I recall that time well. Two young guys in the reserve squadron were offered scabbing at UAL. We all naturally "cautioned" them that certain measures would have to be taken if they fully accepted = Summary Court Martial and execution, of course, with their ashes then, without ceremony, save for salting the ground, scattered at the most remote regions of the four cardinal compass points. 😉
