The entitlement mentality and immaturity of the West Class is on display in full glory over the last day. Frat boy Nazi themed anti-Semitic videos, calling others scabs, making fun of accidents, prank calling a safety hotline. All under the guise of being an oppressed and downtrodden underclass. They feel are entitled to do as they please until they get what they want. Nothing is off limits. They sue and sue, and at the slightest pushback or appeal cry foul like somehow they are "owed" a win. We have all had it. Better to live under our current contract than ever, ever have to deal with the West class again. The Nic is already dead, and DFR II will soon be a faded memory. The West Merger Committee contingent and the Company have joined forces with USAPA to end this mess. (cue a junior West class member telling me how bad my pay is, and Cactusboy telling me he will see me in court) RR
What makes you think any other pilot group who had the misfortune being stuck with Usapians would put up with your crap? When the United/Continental list was published did they throw a hissy fit?
West pilots noticed. I'll let you be a fly on the wall again. Here's a sample:
"Just in case anybody is wondering, this is what mature, adult behavior looks like."
"Wow they may not agree, but they say accept and move on, now professional. To bad the East is not as professional."
"Should be required reading for eastholes."
" That is how a Class Acts acts, not a bunch of low life SCABS."
'Simply amazing how fast they moved to forward the list and accept it. Screw Parker, ALPA, Prater and the lot of worthless d&*kheads that caused us the years of misery and financial loss. "
"He sounds like a grownup. "
"Well....I think they should throw out alpa.....start a new union ....and spend the next 8+ years in grid lock. What...you mean this isn't how it's to be done"
"..the neanderthal, coal miner, union thug mentality doesn't permeate the CAL ranks like it does the AAA ranks."
"So, some pilots do understand the arbitration process. Shame we did not combine with pilots like those."
"Wow! I long to be a member of a union led by people who speak like that. Oh, to be a grown up again..."
" A true leader is one who makes not necessarily the popular decision, but the right one. It is a mark of true moral character....a trait that, obviously, none of our "union" leadership possess."
