There are former Allegheny pilots on your list.
There are former USAir pilots on your list.
There are former Empire pilots on your list.
There are former Piedmont pilots on your list.
There are former Eastern pilots on your list.
There are former AWA pilots on your list.
(did I miss any?)

Yes, you missed Ansett.

80% of our DFW 777 F/O's are 767 I Captain seniority, yet chose to fly as 777 F/O's due to Q.O.L. and economics. When that thing launches to Asia, there's a crew of 4.

You are aware, of course, that when "that thing" launches to Asia, it is on a money losing route. Every single Asian route. Losing money.

Unlike our Tel Aviv, which is highly profitable.

No worries, it's little problems like this that the merger is intended to fix. We'll see if it happens. And if it does, no need to thank us.

The biggest problem this merger will fix is usapa and the east pilot majority.

I don't care who AAviator is. This forum is populated by anonymous posters (except for the few who have disclosed their identity). Don't get me started on USAPA's failure to establish a website where no one hides behind avatars. If a post piques my interest then I respond to it. The poster could be the seventh iteration of Joey Butafucco for all I care. USAPA had the chance to have a forum exclusively for our pilots where these issues could be hashed out with moderator oversight and without anonymity. This is the consequence of not doing so. In that regard, ALPA did better and hopefully APA will also.

I'm encouraged to hear that mutual negotiations will be given serious effort.

Translation, I want USAPA censorship similar to the domicile updates. This forum has grown over the years because the moderators have allowed debate. Greeter's transparent attempts to discredit AA as a Westie are a form of deflection. The Poitburo in Chalotte would rather keep pilots in the dark than deal with facts.

Ahh, the hallmark of the former US Air pilot group...."We promise to abide by the terms of our agreement(s)."

Everyone that beleives that stand on your head.

Members of the BPR, of all people, have a responsibility to tell the truth to their constituents.

What bothers you most is the fact that USAPA is in fact keeping the terms of their contractual agreement (LOA 96), as the courts have proven many times over.

The West made a terrible mistake following a few 2003 or 2004 self appointed "leaders". There is a simple axiom in life that is proven over and over.... "If it sounds too good to be true, it is."

And contrary to your apparent opinion, no one should fret over the signatories of the MOU. All the signatories will in fact abide by the terms... and if anyone thinks otherwise they always have the option of falling back on the courts.

Exactly the same thought I had when I listened to Lee $eeham's pitch at one of the early USAPA road shows.......and why I did not cast my vote for USAPA.

None of them have a conscience. They are all sociopaths.

So...Your previously stated goal here's to get, via the nic, the left seat of a 757 in CLT, and to then intentionally have as your coworkers, "all sociopaths" without "a conscience"...? Umm...OK then. I think we're done here. 🙂 You might wish to consider availing yourself of some help through EAP, or at least through some other providers, just sayin'....Whew!
