as the late Margaret Mitchell so well put it: "Two Nations came to death grips" on the Fields of Gettysburg...and we could, all of us, have MUCH bigger "problems" this night, save for fate".
AMEN... East!
That was only meant in dramatic terms to note that all of this nic nonsense amounts to little, versus real-world events. As for Gettysburg? Per family heritage that was present: I'd have worn the Confederate Grey...Bad day(s) or not. 🙂 Well..that might be unduly arrogant, after all; I'm sure nearly two centuries of family morality, history, tradition and action could well be disregarded in favor of some arbitrator's whim. 🙂 After all...isn't everything just "relative" these days? I can only imagine that all of my ancestors would easilly accept the nic as the divine and fully principled Word of God. "Hey!...Nice to meet you, great, great, great, runnin' outta' greats grandpa from the battle of San Jacinto...These little AWA punks think that a man's work is without merit...Who am I to judge them?....Umm...Sir?...That's NOT OK with you?..Dang it!..But those "spartans" said....umm...they even had an arbitrator....still not OK Sir?'...What's that Sir?...Always fight for what's Right?...Understood Sir....OK then" 😉 Wholly unfair to presume on my ancestors. For all I know; they might consider me an unworthy, little punk, but I hope I've not disappointed them on the field or elsewhere.
