As for the union hall, as president he did have the power to make that decision. Make a motion to remove that power if you have an argument with it.
That is patently UNTRUE.
The President does NOT have that power.
The EXECUTIVE BOARD does have that power.
I do know that most E-Board members like to blame Burchette and hide from the new union hall issue, and you must be listening to them without the facts. The truth is the MAJORITY of the current E-Board voted to build that Taj-Mahal with so many cost overruns the current Sec. Treasure plans to NOT seek re-election for that position.
Correct me if I am wrong Bill, by posting your version of the By-Laws or Constitution that gives the President that authority. Article, Section and Paragraph will do.
