House Minority Whip Eric Cantor voted "present" on the Democrats' bonus bill last night -- claiming he couldn't vote on the measure because his wife works at a financial institution.
Cantor did not make a similar argument a few weeks back when he split with Minority Leader John Boehner by voting for a 90 percent tax clawback on AIG bonuses -- and he voted for the first TARP bailout, even though that measure too could presumably effect his wife's business dealings.
Hhhhmmm Imagine that, wimped out.
