As soon as the billions of $$$ dry up, the people and the police of Chiraq will come for the mayors head. He won't last long, Obammy won't be there anymore for help. In addition, the GOP has the Senate and the House.

Rahm might want to try for a mayor position in Mexico.

Given a chance, Chicago voters would toss the sanctuary status in a heartbeat. They want safer streets and laws to be upheld. Selective enforcement isn't very popular aside from the activist community that seems to own Rahm, Madigan and the rest of the Obama Elites who control the Democrat party.
