Ballots are to be counted on the 25th. Cross your fingers for a wholesale sweep in CLT. Did you notice their was no "meet the candidates meeting" in CLT this election. Almost like someone didn't want you to know who else was running. 14 straight years in office is way too long. Their should be a limit to how long someone can be in there. That just means you haven't been out here in 14 years, to see how the airline is treating your f/a's. Out of site, out of mind. I can't afford 3 more years with the same people in there. I figure they put a hold on how they can screw the RSV f/a's, inorder to run for re-election. Take 3 years off Ann, please. Come out here and see what is going on. Show some compassion. Experience what we are going through. I will help you bid RSV for a few months. You would only have to actually fly 40-45 hours per month. I can help you get aclimated to being "just" a f/a again. It still can be fun sometimes.But, please, take sometime out of the office and get to know your f/a's again.

I know this is frustrating, but you have to realize that most of the stews simply do not care enough to get involved and take the time to understand the candidates positions, let alone take 25 seconds to vote! (Trash bags, on the other hand.......)

When PHL was having its recent elections, I made a few comments about FA's being more concerned with catching their RJ back home to PIT than the elections! (And i was flamed on here)....Believe me yet?

It is what it is, not many care enough to get involved, and that is truly sad. Many, many of the stews I fly with would be absolutely devastated if this place would shut down; you can see in their eyes that they are afraid to do anything else. It's quite depressing to see, really. I am convinced that many, many would do this job for a lot less than we do it for today....Frightening.....

I agree, however, doesn't the MEC/ Neg Cmte need the support of the membership behind them? Let's face it: the majority of the stews are not on board. Out to lunch, big time. They just think this great contract will magically appear. We need involvement and support, and I am quite afraid that we do not have that important piece to the negotiating puzzle.

When we turn up the heat, who will be there? Reserves (me included) mainly, that's who....
