CLT membership is in trouble.

They were in trouble several years ago when unqualified lap dogs like yourself was placed on the negotiating committee for your years of dedicated coffee serving and lunch catering experience!! The damage to the membership was severe in all stations and you can be proud to say that you were directly involved. Thanks :down:

Well it looks like its going to get heated...seams there may be an investigation in the works.

The IAM international or district or local lodge better be very careful on this one. If they call for a REVOTE :down: there will be an uproar amongst the mechanic and related group in CLT. There are many on the fence about signing a teamster card and if the international or district throws away the votes on a technicality it will trigger the fence sitters to stand and send in a teamster card. Then the revote outcome will be the SAME this time around, and the iam would have gained nothing to try to keep a couple of washed up committee men in office. The members have spoke and would like these guys to go back to their toolboxs and paint buckets and do the job they were hired for.

If someone is on the fence about signing a IBT card at this point [insert total screw job by IAM over the last 10 years] then they are really an IAM supporter and don't know it.

At any rate, it won't really matter who the grievance chair is since the IAM structure doesn't give grievance chairs any authority with what is signed off and what is signed onto in contracts. The grievance chairs basically just handle local grievances and that's it.

Sure, they go to conventions, tentative agreement meetings, etc., but in the end, the IAM District calls the shots. No doubt about it.

WoW...but it will get you dayshift with Sat/Sun off...now you call that useless. Oh I forgot..we were pointing this towards the usefullness to the membership..I forgot.

And to the losers its off to midnights and a reality check to see what the members they have been representing have been going through!
