ALPA East voted BEFORE emergence from BK, but kept ALL their stock. Whomever brought you that information has mislead not only the MEC when they voted, but YOU as well.

ALPA, AFA and Customer Service elected to include the West employees. IAM elected to include the West employees on a pro-rated basis back to the first day of the first pay period following date of certification. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's Union Certification.

No, my handle needs put be stuffed up your a??. I've never said AC and GT haven't tried their best. They just need a break, especially AC. 14 straight years in office. Let's see, that's 1993 since she has been on line. There should be a term limit of 6 years, that way it would force people to come back out here to see how things are really operating. And I really don't care how the other bases voted, that is not my concern. My concern is this base and AC and how she voted. SH lost touch with a huge portion of his base and it cost him his job. AC got reelected due to the fact the rsv vote was split 3 years ago.
When's the last time there was a base meeting in CLT? Aren't we supposed to have those every 6 months or so? God forbid we get all the candidates together and hear them debate the issues.

Z3girl, the only one that appears to be a fruitcake in this election is Ann Crowley. She might have put time into the union, but it was on a paid basis. In fact at 105 hours a month. She even took golfing lessons on AFA time. So go ahead and keep flapping your jaws.

Ann Crowley has dedicated herself to Union issues. I have always had my phone calls returned. She is a good person who works hard for AFA.

Cathy Cambell is nuttier than a fruitcake... and I mean CRAZY. She has been a know it all since she was hired. She was ex-Eastern and acted like she knew EVERYTHING about aviation. She is insufferable. Horrible to passengers and crew alike, basically an equal opportunity offender. The Charlotte office is in real trouble if she wins.

If Ann voted "No" and waited for an integreted contract to share the East's givebacks then CLT would have respected her stance, but alas she is incapable of such things. Even though it passed (anyway) as you say... it would have been on the record that she opposed.

That is exactly what I am talking about. How about she polls her base population and get idea of what we think. It's almost like she doesn't want us to know. Are we not allowed to know/ Most f/a's don't even know she voted or that their ever was a vote. When I talk to people out on line, they didn't know a vote occured or that she voted for it. That's money directly out of all of out hard earned, concessioned pockets. That's unforgiveable, from all of the LECP's and Mike Flores also.

We're trying in CLT. We realize that we need a stronger voice in CLT and now is the time to change that. The talk out on line is that we cannot wait 3 more years and live the way we are now. 14 years is alot of time to be in the office. Time to come out and see what the hell is going on. Some could use a 3 year break from office, maybe bid RSV(won't happen), and I don't mean try it for one month.
