Just wondering if any one on the east side or west side can give me any info on how you go about getting consignment tickets listed on the hub, it says something about the pass bureau, is this a walk in only deal and is it only in PHX I sent an email but have gotten no response any info would be great!

I have never heard of consignment tickets. Are you talking about AIRLINE tickets?

Consignment tickets are available from the Pass Bureau, which is a fancy way of saying discount tickets to (generally) theme parks. Last I checked they had Sea World SAN, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Walt Disney World available. The full list may be found under Perks on theHub.

Scroll about half way down to the section titled "Consignment Tickets". Per the Pass Bureau, any employee may take advantage of this offer by either visiting in person, or via mail. Enclose a check or money order payable to US Airways, and include your badge # and Driver's License on the check. They also require a SASE to send them back to you. These tickets are actual media, so I would recommend putting a tracking # or insurance on the return envelope.

The address is:

Pass Bureau
US Airways/CH-PSB
4000 E Sky Harbor Blvd
Phoenix, AZ 85034

Of course, leave youself enough time for the mailing.

Very cool, thank-you! On the east, there was a time that we got them too; but that was a long time ago. The only perk that's similar is from US Airways vacations. We get (15%?) off any travel package deal -space positive- and I've gotten multi-day passes for Disney World.

On the East you can always do group ticketing to events. Do it via the cactus club and get refunds to boot.
You just have to contact the groups department for the event and say we have an interest of between 20 & 200 tikcets what can you do?

Out west the even had 1,000 PHX Suns playoff tickets offered to employees before they went to the general public.

You just have to make your own connections at the events I am ure somone from the cactus club can help.

Even better: USV is 20% off for employees. You can mix and match hotel only and non-rev it, or do the whole thing space positive at 20% - and get your miles! I would recommend shopping around, though, just to make sure you get the best deal like any smart consumer should.

If you're going to LAS, calling the hotels directly and identifying yourself as a US employee will more often than not get you a good rate (and sometimes an upgrade). Obviously, Sun-Wed arrivals are best...
