SCOTT, you are repeating yourself. Did you read up on the medical leave of absence section in your new (APA) contract? Didn't think so. Ok, you can keep your head in the sand... Carry on! Lol

The fist one to make a serious proposal is desperate to speed negotiations along and is in a position of weakness. The APA is desperate to oust Horton and is fearful that the longer it takes to exit bankruptcy the better chance Horton has to staying and collecting his millions. If APA really wanted to make an effective proposal they should have joined with USAPA to put out a ball busting counter proposal, but they are fearful Horton will be able to stay if they don't rush things.
OR! The APA unlike usapa understands negotiation and how much or how little leverage they have.

It is your attitude that landed you on LOA 93. An irrational fear of "showing weakness" and the offers kept getting smaller and smaller. Refusing to negotiate on freezing your pension turned into no pension. Refusing to negotiate on seniority and not wanting to "show weakness" even after the arbitrator told you that you were not going to get DOH/LOS. The only balls getting busted are east pilots. Besides with usapa and east pilots record. No one wants to join usapa, for anything.
 
Hearing the same thing... It would be Nic if uSAPa came out with a Nic update. Sure would bea Nic change, especially with such Nic weather we have in Phoenix! Have a Nic evening Claxon, it will be Nic working with you soon! Gear up!!!

What's with this "Gear Up" thing? The flying pilot calls for the gear, after a positive rate of climb is established now, at least in the SOP's I fly under.

If you are implying that if and when we ever fly together, you are going to fly ALL the legs, then have at it! I will look forward to some AWA flying lessons and will be a much "better" pilot for it, yes?!

Why don't you just explain it to me now? Are you saying you intend to fly ALL the legs on any "hypothetical" trips flow with East F/O's?, or would you just "change" the SOP's as you go?

I "cut my teeth" in this business, flying with some of the most ornery, overbearing, old school jerks, who ever terrorized an F/O, all when you were probably still playing with paper dolls.

You mean what we did to ourselves. You can identify it as ALPA or USAPA or US. It's still members of this pilot group making stupid decisions that affect the rest of us. Take any given subject, break it down to it's lowest common denominator, and you still get us doing it to ourselves in spite of every shread of advice or council to the contrary.
