I'm going to undercut you to the best of my ability. If it means loa93 and new hire pilots get A330 "Captain" positions in front of you that's your problem. Not mine.

These guys will fly A330 for LOA 93 rates with no complaint. Pull your hand out of the bucket of water and see how fast the hole fills in. No pilot on any airline has special privilege...that includes all of you.

I think Obama should enact a PEB and get rid of unions. Pilots reap what they sow and I refuse to participate with them any longer.

Sure, that is going to happen. After all, Dougie already merged with UAL, DAL, and he has integrated LCC East and West pilots successfully. Wait, he did none of that. There is no way Parker can pull off AA. It will be AA in the drivers seat. As they should be.
Parker cannot get the East pilots to give the change of control. He is blocked, again. As are the West pilots and the Nicolau. That is ancient history. 2007 Wake up boys, what year is it? Still no Nic. again

Your history is factually inaccurate, and it's skewing your conclusions.

The UAL merger failed because UAL didn't want us. We were a pawn in their hopes for a merger with CAL. And at best we were their backup plan. Had absolutely nothing to do with COC.

DAL also wanted nothing to do with us. Again, COC never became an issue.

AA wants and needs this merger. USAPA is mostly powerless to stop it.

I still think my initial take on this proposed "merger" will turn out to be correct........Three pilot groups, Three contracts and Three rates of pay, with One new paint job, which will last for as long as management can possibly make it so.

Nope! This deal will be put together quick. It does not make financial sense for separate ops. Parker can't make the pay rates work running three airlines.
