Yesterday I asked a serious question but since Phoenix has slithered away not to be found. I will open the question to anyone.

Our current transition agreement states that it requires three items to implement the arbitrated award. A single certificate (we have that). A seniority list (we have that, accepted by the company) and a single agreement.

My contention is that either the MOU or a joint contract between US Airways pilots represented by our single bargaining agent and the pilots at american represented by APA constitute a single agreement therefore triggering the Nicolau list. We will have a joint contract and be represented by the APA before we begin seniority arbitration. The APA will be the union to present the now active and ratified seniority list to the arbitrator.

Could one of you east DOH usapa supporters explain how you think the process would work that you would get anything other than the Nicolau? Specific and detailed. Anyone at all.

Hi Gary,,,,um,,,nice to meet you too.....are you sure you want all east pilots seniority dates to read 2005 when AWA bought AAA, cause we were thinking you would just want to use the Nic list that favored you whining crybabies.

You mean Gary Hummel the last president of the former bargaining agent usapa, now line pilot?

What authority will he have to present a seniority list? He will not be representing anyone. Hummel would have about as much authority to give the arbitrator a seniority list as Jack Stephan the last chairman of the former bargaining agent.

The only one with the authority to present a seniority list will be the bargaining agent, APA. Since a joint contract would be ratified by the pilots the only seniority for the US Airways pilots will be the Nicolau.

Have you got another plan?

Just in case my first response did not make you think about it,,,,,um, you do realize that over half the West list makes more money than 90% of the east list...right??

So, really, trying to brag on the "movement" is pretty lame. You are moving into lower paying jobs than the West already has, and you are doing those jobs under a Shiite contract.

Oh, my, in 2013 I have a vacation almost every other month!!!

Actually, Clear inadvertently brought up a good point. Who submits the list under MB, and how are they certified or checked for accuracy prior to use?

Pretty much all roads lead to Nicolau!


Or, are you saying usapa will be about as significant as the men's room janitor?

Well "YOUR CONTENTION" is probably the vehicle for an absolute resolve , other than JUDGE SILVER, but knock yourself out! When HORTON emerges in control and sells the PHX contracts off ! U are toast!

Actually MB provides equal protection. The Women's room janitor won't be excluded. Tsk. Tsk.

They'll be asking for our seniority list, not a list of our DOHs.

By the way, the contract says what the seniority list is and I think they will have a copy of our contract.
