401k is not a DC plan. A 401k match is not a DC plan. I admire you for sticking up for clear, it needs the help.

Ummmmmmmm, if by DC plan you mean defined contribution, then I'm afraid you're wrong. A 401k is an example of a defined contribution plan. You're right in that it used to be a match, currently it is 10%, no match required. You're also right in that a 401k is a joke compared to a defined benefit plan, like the one you guys and gals unfortunately lost.

Why did it take 3 days to reach MOU?......you're naive. Have you ever baked a cake? All those eggs, a bunch of flour, sugar, and other stuff. Plus, how long to bake it and at what temp.....same with the MOU.

It is amazing watching the melt down. If the flying public ever read the posts of Clax or Eastus1, they would demand that an ambulance meet the airplane (well stocked with straight jackets and syringes).

Don't you have access to wings?

Yogi Berra should be your west pilots spokesperson, regarding your previous "DC Plan."

What is it you're trying to get at? We don't even have a DC plan now so you're, once again, making us look bad.

Be specific. Now lets presume I accused the west pilots of being scabs. I have the responsibility to back this with more information. Not only being scabs but actively recruiting them is what you did. I would post the following.

I dont know about you but I have had a DC plan for some time, though of course we would all prefer to have our DB plan if there was a choice.

What was the point in posting a comercial about disablity insurance? I already know that the west's STD and LTD plans are better than the easts.

That was loooong before my time. From what I've read there was no strike, hence no strike line to cross, those pilots quit. If you're going to modify the definition of being a scab, then you mind as well add pilots that replace a real union with a farse designed to get around a labor arbitration.

West pilots scabbed in Austrialia. The Australia pilots had to resign or face jail. The US labor laws are different. The west pilots scabbed.
