Depending on the time frame of the MOU passing, and it's proximitety to an actual merger, pretty much plan on no permanent bids and the existing ones canceled.

Don't forget about age 65 retirements. They of course will also be canceled.

Since there aren't any "LOA93 scabs" I guess it's okay for the company to show them some favoritism. Wouldn't bother me a bit if they discrimiinated against the real scabs still flying on the west, though. I sure wouldn't lose any sleep over that.

How much is AOL paying the three or four of you posters to come on here and "keep hope alive"? Wouldn't want reality to set in, it would cost them all those contibutions.

Funny. The USAPA Q&A is nearly verbatim of the APA's....minus the key statement the APA made that this MOU is in fact, a new JOINT JCBA for the USAPA pilots. Being its directly related to the USAPA pilots, I wonder why USAPA....yet again,...Has conveniently forgotten to mention it?

AOL is a public LLC, look up their financials yourself. You will not find any expenses for web board posters. Further, judging from the list of donors, there is no need to keep hope alive. You may want to ask usapa communications chair J (CAL scab) Ray, what the fake union spends on mouthpieces that can't even get an update on the MOU right!

So have you figured it out yet?

The west pilots got 7% Company Non-elective contribution and a Company Match of 50% up to 6%.

If a pilot made a 6% contribution he or she got a 10% Company contribution.

So the only west pilots who received any benefit from the new 10% Company contribution are those who did not put at least 6% into their 401k. ( I would assume a very small number of pilots )

A company match, 401k, yada, yada is not a pilot retirement, any west employee could get that.

You have 1800 pilots and the following aol contributors list only has a small amount of pilots participating. That is probably the amount you had participating in the 401k match, you claim was a pilot retirement.
